Once, long ago, in the heart of Dragons, there was a magical emerald waterfall was surrounded by eight kingdoms, each claiming the right to the water. For years the kingdom fought for control over the waterfall spilling countless amounts of blood. Finally, a pack was formed, and the Kingdoms were to never again come in contact with each other again. For centuries no one from any kingdom ever interacted with a person from another, that is until now...
"What a glorious day for a hunt right bother?" Thor said turning to his brother.
"If you say so brother," Loki said fighting to control his horse.
"Sir don't you think we best be getting back your father is expecting you," A knight said riding up next to him.
"Stop worrying Kara" Thor smiled "we'll be back in plenty of time"
"I swear you act just like my cousin Clark," she said rolling her eyes.
"How is-" the prince was cut off by a loud scream ripped through the air followed by a loud roar.
"That sounded like a Griffin attack," Kara said looking over to where the sound was coming from.
"Not our land not our problem" Loki pointed out turning his horse around.
"Fine be that way if you must but I'm going to check it out, Yah!" Thor shouted riding his horse into the woods.
"Brother that's not in our kingdom!" Loki yelled as Kara rode past after Thor. As they got close Kara was able to make out the figure of a brown-headed boy trapped between a sliver-feathered Griffin and a large rock.
"Get away!" the teen yelled throwing rocks at a giant Griffin.
"Hold on!" Thor shouted, dismounting from a horse. Kara jumped off her horse following him.
"Wow this is a lot bigger than the ones in our kingdom," Kara said in amazement.
"Good thing we're the best hunters around" Thor grinned before running toward the animal. Kara ran beside him until the beast lashed its tail sending her flying into a soft bed of ferns.
"Watch out" Kara yelled as the large animal lunged its head. Thor quickly blocked it with his sword. The animal struck once again shattering his sword into a million pieces.
"Guess we're going to have to do this the old-fashioned way" Thor grunted as he dodged a swift blow. He latched onto one of the creature's wings driving it to the ground. Kara took advantage hitting it in the side while dodging its powerful paws. The beast let out a mighty cry before flying off.
"That was a great battle" Kara smiled over at Thor "Are you hurt?" He shook his head no before turning to the boy.
"Are you okay young lad?" Thor asked the young teen.
"Yes s-sir," the teen said nervously dusting himself off "Thank you"
"What's is your name and why are you in the woods alone?" Kara asked.
"Oh my name is Peter Parker" he smiled "I was out here training to be a knight"
"Aren't you A bit small to be a knight?" Thor asked curiously.
"I'm just as skilled as another knight" he protested just as Loki came running up to the three.
"Brother..." Loki panted heavily "we need to go"
"Okay," he said before turning to the kid one last time "farewell young knight'
Time skip
"You should have seen it" Kara exclaimed jumping off of her horse "it was the biggest beast I have ever seen"
"I'm sure it was very impressive," Clark said taking her sword out of its sling "You need to take better care of your weapons, they are your greatest allies"
"No my greatest allies are my fellow Knights" Kara corrected him "Especially Thor" she smiled to herself.
"You need to take your mind off him" Clark scuffed "You know it will never happen he's Royal Blood and you are a commoner"
"I'm also the best Knight in the kingdom, Odin said that himself" Kara retorted.
"Yeah but being a knight will only get you so far, there are rules that have been in place for centuries" He reminded her.
"I know" she sighed "don't you ever dream about-"
"Knights don't dreams" he rolled his eyes "Knight are here to serve and protect that is all"
Meanwhile in the castle
"You broke the oath!" Odin scolded at his older son "do you know what that means you can never be king and I have no successor"
"This is unfair and what about Loki could he be the successor?" Thor said pointing towards the door.
"Oh please I love him like a son but he still is born of common blood," Odin said looking at his son.
"It is not unheard of, I've heard tell of a kingdom across the sea that held a contest to find their next King, and what about kings born of revolutions?" Thor reminded him
"This is different" His father frowned.
"What was I supposed to do let the kid die?" Thor couldn't understand why his father was so upset.
"Yes!" Odin turned away from his son. "Go ahead to the town meeting place I have to talk to my advisors"
Time skip
Thor stood towards the back of the crowd with Loki and Kara, as Odin stood on a rugged wooden platform at the front of the crowd holding an old sword.
"Come forth my son" Odin waved Thor over to the platform. Thor moved to stand in front of his father "Kneel" Thor knelt down on one knee "You have broken the law of the crown" he said using the sword to cut Thor's hair short "I hereby banish you from this day on you shall not step foot in this Kingdom"
"Banished?" Thor let out a gasp "surely you can't be serious"
"I'm sorry son but there's nothing I can do" he looked down in shame "Now go"
"He's not really going to banish his own son?" Kara whispered to Loki. The Prince remained quiet.
"Fine, if that is what you wish" Thor sighed to himself walking out the kingdom gate.
"I'm going with him," Kara told Loki before running off.
"What?" Loki turned to see the blondie-headed girl running out the gate "No Kara come back here" but was too late she was already out of earshot.
"Hold up" Kara called running after Thor. The Ex-Prince stood at the gate waiting for her to catch up "I'm coming with you" She announced as he turned to her.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked raising an eyebrow. She smiled giving him a quick nod. "Excellent we will make a spectacular team"
"So where are we headed?" she asked walking next to him.
"I was thinking we could try that kingdom the kid was from," he said "I believe it is the Kingdom of Fire"
