   For a year now, Stede Bonnet has pursued the man he loves across the sea. Desperate for a chance to put things right, Stede will stop at nothing to catch up with Ed and the Revenge. But with his crew losing faith and time marching on, Stede is starting to suspect he needs a miracle.

   For a year now, Edward Teach has been a prisoner aboard the Revenge, held captive by his own reputation. When the chance of escape presents itself, Ed sets his sights on the one place in the world where he might still be welcome.
