Prompt: hey its okay I've got you

...

He tried to shoot up as he came out of the memory. Something strong however kept him pinned a warm object. Lukas reached for the even as he prepared himself for it to scream at it. The screams that had haunted him since that terrible day.

Why hadnt he held off for a little longer? If he had so many lives could have been spared. Regardless of what Revan and Alek say he was a murderer.

All those lives. All those you served beside. Too much death leaves echoes in the Force. That is the price for having such connections.

Who had said that? He felt like he should know. That he should remember something important.

As he touched the Force he was surprised when the screams that had been defeaning for so long were quieter now. Barely more than a whisper in the back of his mind. There was something else too. A strong connection between him and another. Who?

"Lukas," came a bleary sleep filled voice, "What is it? Another memory?"

"Kavar?" He voice broke slightly at the end.

The warmth under him shifted and Lukas looked up into his friend's face. When he realized that he was laying on top of Kavar blood rushed to his face. They had been dancing around their feeling for the last few days. During this time they either spent all of their time together meditating or sparring. Or they avoided each other. So how had he ended up laying on top of Kavar.

Seeing his confused look Kavar said with a far off look in his eyes, "You were having a nightmare and when I tried to wake you but you dragged me onto the bed with you."

Lukas cursed mentally. That was something that happened when he was a young padawan. He would cling to those who he had a strong bond with. Currently his strongest Force Bond was with Kavar.

"Hey, it's okay," said Kavar, "Honestly if it helped you and didn't kill me I don't mind."

Lukas groaned, "I thought this was done when I left for war. Why did it have to come back now?"

Kavar patted him on the back consolingly but he could feel the way the master shook with laughter. Lukas buried his burning face in the master's chest.
