Instead of letting him fall onto the ground, Kavar caught him. The man's earthly scent kept him from fighting his way out of the grip. Zez-Kai Ell watched with a knowing look and he could feel the acceptance within the Force. An acceptance that Vrook lacked.
Vrook ordered, "Kavar you know what we must do. The wound to the Force must be closed."
Kavar turned his blazing blue eyes upon the older master, "You can't be serious, Vrook. He can barely keep conscious it's obvious that he is not the threat you so fear."

Atton had left him behind as soon as they were let out of House arrest. It wasn't that surprising. The older man had been the most trustful person. They pretty much used each other to get off the mining station. That didn't surprise him. What did surprise him was Kreia disappearing too.
Lukas had gone out for a walk when he couldn't sleep. When he came their shared apartment was empty. The two had taken a third of their equipment and credits each. Very little was left for him. The weapons was mostly armor and medipacks. They weren't any weapons as the TSF wouldn't give them back.
To keep out of trouble Lukas kept to his room for the most part. Without any weapons, he was a sitting duck. Using what little Force Powers he found again would only bring trouble upon him.

For a moment his mind flashed to the Jedi Council. Anger made his face flush for a moment. They knew what was happening out on the Rim. How the Republic would lose if nothing was done to help them. Yet they still advised caution.
Only one master could have convinced him to listen. Kavar is the youngest member of the Council and a good friend. It had been a long battle on who he would follow. Revan or Kavar? One friend or the one who could be more.
Breathing out a sigh he pushed away the thoughts of indecision. He had made his choice. There was no backing out now. Revan needed him. Malak was too bloodthirsty to counterbalance her. Lukas would be the level-headed one of the three.
A part of him wanted to snort. Right him level-headed. No one who had spent any significant amount of time would ever accuse him of that. But he had to try. For Revan and the good of the Republic.

They simply stared at him with a blank thousand light year stare. He didn't know how to help them. He hadn't been there that day as he was off fighting in another sector. By the time he got the message it was too late. The damage had been done.
The Republic called them heroes. Mandalorians called them worthy adversaries. To themselves they were monsters. It hurt to simply look in a mirror. More than once Alek had come across them simply staring out at the endless darkness. Unreadable or blank expressions on their faces even in the privacy of their quarters.
