GRIAN (STATEMENT)
I’m being stalked. It’s not just a feeling of being watched, I know I’m being stalked because I’ve seen who, no, what, is watching me. It started about a month ago when I was watching my favorite movie, Omega Hunters of Doom , that campy 80s action flick. Anyways, it was dark out so when I turned off my TV, my whole house went black. This would have been fine, if not for the presence I could feel through the window to my yard. In the corner of my eye I could see a very tall, incredibly thin, black figure, but when I tried to look at it, it had already vanished. I was a little spooked, but since it was gone, there wasn’t much I could do, so I went to bed. All night I thought I could hear a faint noise moving downstairs throughout my house. I was too afraid to check if there was anything really there. That night was the beginning of this whole thing. When I would be out in town or just going about my day, I would see that black figure in the corner of my vision, but now, it would wait just enough for me to know it was there before vanishing. Just to be there in the corner of the room. I started to recognize its noises, because of how wrong they sounded.
At first I figured that if this thing was just going to appear and disappear, there wasn’t much I could do. I thought it would just be something I’d have to live with, especially since it never seemed to physically do anything. That worked until a few weeks later when my furniture started being moved. Now, I was pretty sleep deprived at this point because this thing had been wearing on my nerves since it had appeared, but I know that the chair hadn’t been there before. This continued for a while as well. It started with me coming home everyday to my furnishings being slightly moved around, but then things started going missing, or new couches would appear that I had never seen before. I even managed to put up with this when there started occasionally being small piles of soil and sand on my floors. Each time, I would just see the figure in my peripheral vision before it disappeared.
One night, I was watching TV in my living room when the thunderstorm outside cut out my power. When I left my couch to get a torch, I tripped over a white rock that had not been there before. This was the last straw. That white rock filled me with so much rage and hatred I knew exactly what I was going to do the next time I saw that thing . Unfortunately, that time came much sooner than I thought. As I was getting batteries for my torch, I heard its noise behind me. The image of that white rock entered my mind and I turned forcefully to see my stalker. There it stood. All nine feet of its black, bone thin frame. This time though, I think it wanted me to see it, and I stared into its glowing, purple, eyes. As soon as I did, I knew it was the wrong thing to do.
Its jaw unhinged as it let out a bone-churning shriek and it started to approach me. I ran through my house, but it was everywhere. When the lightning flashed into my house, I saw it again, and I knew that I would die, so I ran outside into the downpour. It had been chasing me through the entryway, but as the drops touched my skin and I turned to meet my encroaching demise, it was just. Gone. Not gone in the sense of vanishing, but I could feel that it really was not there. A few days later, I was talking with my friend Mumbo who works here and he recommended that I come make a statement.

Statement ends.
When I asked Mumbo about this Iskall case, he said he remembered telling him he should come here, but didn’t know that Iskall had actually made a statement. It seems Iskall lived alone and didn’t mention anyone other than Mumbo, so there wasn’t much other follow-up we could do. We were, however, able to contact Iskall. He said that he hasn’t seen the figure again since that rainy night, but from time to time, he swears his furniture will be moved, just a little.
End recording.
