‘Hmm, there’s no natural way to make Gumball love me... Maybe a few, but never mind that. What if I did something, not natural?’ Sarah thought, she giggled and her eyes lit up with a great idea.
She had decided to do something drastic, and that something was get a love potion. Sarah didn’t really know how to get a love potion; she tried the black market but that didn’t work out. She then remembered; Hector’s mom is a witch! She’ll probably be able to make a love potion!
She decided to travel to Hector and His mother’s cave, she didn’t really know the directions but she still somehow was able to make it to her house.
“Mrs. Jötunheim?” Sarah called out from outside the cave where she lived. “What is it, Ice cream lady?” The witch responded with a bored and uninterested face. Or maybe that was her normal face, who’s to say?
Sarah smiled. “Well, I was wondering if you could make a love potion for me?” Sarah asked calmly. “What am I? The love doctor? You know those things don’t grow on trees. Also, why would I be your first option, we’ve never even interacted.”
“Well, you weren’t my first choice, I originally went to the black market for it but it didn’t work out, I did get a new body part though!” Sarah showed her extra limb in a certain area of her body. “Yeesh. I’m still not going to do it.”
“I know... but please?” Sarah looked down at her with pleading eyes. The witch had somehow fell victim to it. “Fine, now there’s all these guidelines but who cares? I don’t, but I’m legally obligated to tell you them so.”
“Legally?” Sarah asked, the short witch responded. “Witches association is just the government for witches. Anyways, do you agree to use this for good... Blah blah blah... and make sure to never get this into the hands of the wrong person.”
The witch gave her a pen and a contract, Sarah signed happily and put her hands together with an awkward grin. “Now, for everything that is loving and dreary, answer this girls love... Query.”
“Query?” “Yeah, that was the best I could think of.” The witch stirred in some ingredients, some of them including a real-life heart. The ingredients were slowly mixed together, turning from an ugly brown slop to a hot pink. While being stirred some weirdly romantic music was being played.
“Does this always happen?” Sarah asked. “That’s just what happens when you stir a love potion.”
The potion was finally ready, the witch grabbed a bottle out from a random drawer an put it in and sealed it nicely with a little bow. “Aw, that’s cute!”
“You don’t want to know what else has been inside this bottle.” The witch gave her the potion but warned her. “If this got into the wrong hands, or if you use it wrongly then BEWARE!”
“Yeah yeah, I got it.” Sarah walked away potion in hand hugging it and smiling. ‘Score’ she whispered to herself. Sarah got back home and realized the time; it was almost time for school.
She giggled to herself while thinking of the plan, she looked back at her shrine of Gumball and Darwin, now one of them could be hers. Forever. But how exactly would she get Gumball to drink the potion, aha! She got it, she just needs to put it in the school lunch. Now it was time to get this plan into action, she looked back at the clock and she was late.
I guess monologuing does take up too much time. Sarah ran over to the bus and took the potion with her, she sat down on the bus and waited for the bus ride to be over, she watched Gumball and Darwin’s witty one liners and jokes.
She smirked and got off the bus, going to class and highly anticipating lunch time. She took out her pen and notebook and decided to pass the time with drawing. She drew some fanart for a fanfiction she wrote about Gumball and Darwin's adventures in the world of Elmore, with some ships between the characters she enjoyed. Still unfinished but she’ll work on that later.
Miss Simian saw Sarah drawing but despite that she didn’t care enough about her job to punish her. Gumball looked over at Sarah and saw what she was drawing, she knew what he was going to say just from his face. Some witty commentary about how she’s weird or something.
She didn’t mind though; she’s gotten used to it, they hang out often, even if Gumball doesn’t know that.
It was finally lunch time. She was sitting by herself eating some spaghetti and ice cream on the side, which might be a bit weird. After she ordered her food though, she asked Rocky to give a little something in the food to spice it up and gave him the potion. She didn’t think about it logically until now and... Yeah, she unleashed a love bomb in everyone at school’s food.
She could see the effects coming into play now, I mean everyone was going bananas in love with each other! Leslie was hanging out with Alan and... kissing him? Eh, she could get behind the ship. But everyone was with someone and it was a whole mess, but she still loved it.
She saw Gumball and Darwin sit down and look at their food, NOOO! Wait, isn’t this what she wanted? Oh right, she’s gotta get over to where they’re sitting so it works!
“Dude, what the what is with this food? I mean, it looks like you killed a unicorn and dumped it’s remains on it.” Darwin agreed. “It looks disgusting but so does all the other food in the school so I guess it balances out.” Darwin shrugged and so did Gumball, they took a bite from their food. They could feel it’s effects already kicking in, they looked up and over and Sarah was sitting right in front of them.
What was this feeling? Oh shit, it was love but unwilling. “GOSH DANG IT SARAH YOU- YOU- Beauty of this world!” Gumball’s eyes lit up and Sarah squealed. “Oh Sarah, why must you only choose Gumball, I get it. Your beauty is too much for two, I understand.” Darwin shed a small tear before Sarah responded.
“Actually! I have enough room in my heart for the both of you! Ahh. Maybe I could just stay like this for a little while.” Darwin jumped up and gave Sarah a hug, Gumball saw this and gave Sarah a hug and a kiss.
Sarah smiled and giggled with that one face she always does. Ahh, it was just perfect for her. Nothing is going wrong, besides all the other people she’s infected, well, that’s got to get fixed, but she doesn’t care right now. All she cares about are Gumball and Darwin lovingly holding her.
Carrie walked in through the cafeteria door dropping everything to go and talk to Sarah and why Darwin and Gumball were obsessing over her.
“What is going on here?” Carrie asked, teleporting over to Sarah. “Why are Darwin and Gumball? Ugh, forget it. Love Potion?” Sarah nodded sadly with a small ‘mhm’. “Now tell me WHY you decided THAT would be a good idea?”
“Well... I just wanted Gumball and maybe Darwin to love me, I guess I got a bit carried away.” Sarah responded. Sarah realized she felt a bit guilty, both of them had girlfriends but she wanted some love.
“CARRIED AWAY? THE WHOLE SCHOOL; Most of them anyway. IS IN LOVE FROM IT.” Sarah frowned and Carrie looked down at her with a not mad but disappointed face. Sarah realized something, “Wait, how come you didn’t fall in love?”
“#1. DUHH, I’m a ghost. And #2. I still wouldn’t eat that food.” Sarah shrugged; it was fair enough. “Anyways, we need to get Elmore Jr. High back to normal, tell me, where did you get this potion from?”
“Oh! I got this from the old witch lady who lives in the mountains, she’s the mother of Hector which was really unexpected, but I-”
“Yeah, yeah let's go.” Carrie teleported her and Sarah up to the mountain where she lives. Darwin and Gumball were left clinging onto each other crying and waiting for Sarah to come back. Sarah and Carrie walked into the Witch’s lair, not really a lair but more of a house but you get what I mean.
“Can you just give us the antidote.” Carrie said, walking straight in. “Antidote for what?” The witch asked confused. “Sigh. I guess I’ll just have to show you.” Carrie teleported both her and Sarah to the school.
“And what did I say about the potion?” The witch asked smugly. “Not to use it for the wrong reason.” Sarah responded, a bit of her melting with the words. “This is not the time for smug lessons, just give us the antidote.”
“Fine.” Carrie teleported her back to the cave and the witch started making all of the ingredients and put them all into the cauldron. She mixed them all together and the antidote was made, it was put into a different bottle because Sarah forgot to give her back her usual one.
Sarah grabbed the antidote and asked Carrie to teleport her back to the school. They quickly put the antidote in all their food and started force feeding the students. “Is there really not a better way?” Carrie asked. “Probably, but we don’t have time.” Sarah said with a cool tone of voice and Carrie just sighed.
They had finally finished and got to Gumball and Darwin, they force fed the food, Carrie to Darwin and Sarah to Gumball and it was a happy ending. “Carrie! You’re my hero!” Darwin exclaimed, Carrie blushed and put her arm on her other. “Psh, it was no biggie really.”
Gumball also had a hero. It was Sarah. “Oh Sarah, you’re my hero forever. I’m going to break up with Penny and be with you instead.” Gumball said with a fake-loving tone of voice. “Just kidding! But seriously thanks, though I don’t even know what happened.” Gumball rubbed his head. He took his hands of the ice cream girl and decided to grab Darwin to get to class. Sarah frowned, but she deserved it. She shouldn’t have done that in the first place, maybe she’ll try a natural way next time.
