One day, Tenma Tsukasa had suddenly disappeared.
After a full hour of waiting on the benches of the Wonder Stage, Emu worriedly spoke.
“Has anyone heard from Tsukasa today? It's not like him to be so late...”
The others shook their heads, pulling out their phones.
“His last access to texts dates back to sunday, just before our latest show... He hasn't logged in for two days, maybe he's sick?”
Rui shook his head.
“If that were the case he would've just told us, no?” “You're right...”
Nene and Emu looked at each other worried, while their companion hopped on stage, putting his phone away.
“I sent him a text and will check on him tomorrow at school, that's the most we can do right now, isn't it? Let's start practice, or he'll scold us if he finds out we slacked off while he wasn't here”
Unable to disagree with him, the girls followed suit, getting on stage and beginning practice.
The following day Rui went to Tsukasa's classroom as he had promised the girls, but couldn't find him. Asking a couple of classmates, he soon found out he hadn't come to school at all since monday.
He tried calling his cellphone, but it was unavailable.
He would have been lying if he had said he wasn't worried about his friend, but then again, what more could he have done? He didn't even know his address...
Walking through the halls without a proper destination in mind, he suddenly realised that he didn't know where Tsukasa lived, but he was acquainted to someone who did. He realised he could have done that something more he was looking for.
Just as he started walking with a goal in mind this time though, he received a phone call from Emu.
“Yahhoo Emu, I'm yet to find-” “I think something bad happened, Rui!”
Baffled and worried, Rui headed to a more quiet corridor to hear her better.
“What do you mean?”
Emu sounded frantic, which was very out of character for someone as cheery as she usually was.
“Well, I went to Saki's classroom to ask her if she could tell us what was up with her brother, but Ichika told me she had a very bad couple of days and was forced back into the hospital... She couldn't tell me which one or any more about her condition, though... She too tried to contact Tsukasa but failed... His phone's been unreachable since yesterday”
Rui hardly swallowed the knot in his throath.
“Wait, we should probably speak face to face... I'll find Nene and head over to the Sekai, we'll see you there” “Alright!”
Ended the call, Rui started walking towards Nene's classroom... His steps soon becoming faster and faster, until he was almost running.
Lessons where about to start again, but Nene didn't hesitate to follow him after seeing him catching his breath by her door, hurrying her to follow him.
They headed to the rooftop, where they proptly opened their playlist, clicking on The World Hasn't Even Started Yet...
But they could have never imagined what they'd find on the other side...
A rumble greeted them...
To what definitely wasn't the start of a world...
...But its end.
