Summary
Five years post-retirement from the professional circuit as a Principal ballet dancer, 38-year-old Jared works as the Dance Coordinator for the Richardson Park District. He enjoys his work and his carefully constructed routine. With four months until recitals in May, he must remain focused.
Jensen, a NHL player, is two seasons into his time in Dallas. At age 40, he doesn’t take hits like he used to and he knows it. His game is a little slower, his moves a little sluggish, and he needs to step it up if he wants any chance of helping Dallas make the playoffs.
When Jensen’s ex-wife, Oli, needs to travel more often, he picks up the responsibility of taking their little girl Lilah to ballet class.
It’s then that the worlds of ballet and hockey start to merge.
