Chapter Text

Getting help from a friend

Brian called Jim Street. Street said "hey Brian what's up?" Brian said "I need your help." Street said "okay how?" Brian said "remember that case that I did and let the person leave?" Street said "yeah." Brian said "I need you to find him because he has a clean record" Street said "yeah I will." Brian asked "if they ask if this is a joke tell them that a exfriend or ex undercover cop got them clean." Street said yes ok." Brian said "thank you." Street said "you are welcome, Brian are you okay?" Brian said "yeah I am, his name is Dominic Toretto." Street said "thank you." Brian said "you are welcome." Then they got off the phone. Street started looking for Dom, But he could not find him at all.

After about a week Street went up to Hondo and Deacon. Street told them what Brian asked him to do. Deacon asked "how do you know this Brian O'Connor?" Street said "we went into academy together." Hondo said "okay I will look and see where he is." Street said "thank you." Street then told Hondo the same thing that Brian said to him. Hondo said "okay." Street said "thank you." Hondo said "yes you are welcome." Finally Hondo found Dom. Hondo called Dom and told him. Dom asked "is this a sick joke just to get them to come back just to get arrested?" Hondo said "an exfriend or ex undercover cop got you all clean records." Dom said "okay" because he knew it was Brian but he didn't know why Hondo said it the way he did.

Chapter 2

Hondo said "well I guess that's it." Dom said "hold on, how come you said that?, because I know it is Brian O'Connor." Hondo said "oh um Brian has ask a friend of his that went to academy with to look for you, his name is Jim Street. he looked for you for about a week. Then he came up to me and a friend of mine and asked if we could help. I said I will see what I can do because I was in the Marines so I figured I would have people to help out." Dom said "okay thank you." Hondo said "you are welcome." Dom asked "do you know where Brian is?" Hondo said "no." Dom said "I wondered why he asked his friend and not my sister."Hondo said "I don't know." Dom said "okay goodbye." Hondo said "goodbye and if you need me to find Brian just let me know." Dom said "okay thank you." Hondo said "you are welcome."

Dom called Mia. Mia answered with "hi." Dom said "hi." Then told Mia that they get to come home. Mia asked "this is not a joke right?" Dom said "no, Brian got our record's clean some how." Mia said "that is good." Dom asked "do you know where Brian is?" Mia said "no but he got your stupid car and brought it here, and I told him never come here or try to get a hold of me again because he lied and he took my family from me.". Dom said "the only thing Brian did was lied that's it, I am the one that took the family away if I just listened maybe Brian would not have to get our record's clean and we would have been home all this time." Mia said "I don't know." Dom said "we will go home today." Mia said "okay see you later." Dom said "yeah." Mia said "I love you and goodbye." Dom said "goodbye and love you too."

They got off the phone and Dom told the rest what is going. They got ready and went back home. Dom called Hondo again when he answered, Dom asked "could you please find Brian for me?" Hondo said "yes I will." Dom said "thank you." Hondo said "you are welcome." Dom said "goodbye." Hondo said "goodbye." They then got off the phone.

Chapter 3

Dom and his family arrived home, they just went straight inside and were hugging Mia. Mia said "it is good to have you all back!" Dom said "it is good to be back." Everyone was about to say the same thing but Dom's phone went off. Dom got his phone out and answered it, Hondo said "it looks like Brian has opened a garage in Miami with two of his friends, one from childhood the other one that has been a friend since Miami." Dom said "okay thank you." Hondo said "you are welcome." Hondo then gave Dom Brian's cell phone number. Dom said "okay cool, I think we just go to Miami and talk to him like show up and not tell him." Hondo said "okay, that is good." Then they got off the phone.

Dom turned and asked everyone if they wanted to talk to Brian?" Jesse said "I would because I would like to say thank you for saving me and Vince and letting you go."Dom said okay." Leon said "yes I want to come to keep Jesse safe." Vince said "I will go to look out for you Dom." Mia and Letty said "we will stay here and take care of everything." Dom said "okay, let's get ready to go, we will go tomorrow." Tomorrow came and everyone that was leaving got into Dom's car and they left headed towards miami.

Brian and Roman had everything ready to open the garage, and were waiting to be called to go to a race. Brian got the call. Dom and everyone saw Brian and someone that they thought was the childhood friend leave. Dom just followed Brian. Brian got to the race area and gave his money and Roman put his money in as well. Everyone got ready to race, when it had finished he won the race, he got out and collected his money and split it between himself, Roman and Tej. Brian was about to walk back to his car but saw Dom and the others.

Brian went up to Dom and asked "why are you here?" Dom could see that Brian looked hurt and really tired and said "we came to talk to you." Brian asked "why?" Dom said "we need to talk to you about something important in private."

Chapter 4

Brian said "uggg fine, come and follow me.";Everyone got into their car, and left the race and got to the back of Tej's garage and park their cars. Brian got out and said "come on." Everyone got out of their cars. Dom asked "where are we?" Brian said "we are behind my friend's Garage he ran the race." Dom said "we see this but why?" Brian said "well I also live right here." Jesse asked "is it safe?" Brian said "yes it is." They all went into the boathouse, Brian asked, "Do you all want something to drink or eat?" Everyone said they were good but Roman said "root beer please." Brian said "here." Roman said "thank you." Brian said "you are welcome."

Brian then said "Roman this is Vincent, Dom, Jesse, and Leon. Vincent, Dom, Jesse, and Leon this is Roman Pearce my childhood friend, before you ask no Roman is not leaving." Before Dom could say anything at all Jesse said "thank you for saving me and Vince and letting Dom go." Brian said "yeah you are welcome, is that it?" Dom said "no." Brian asked "what is there to talk about?" Dom said "how about you lieing to us?, what about you asking a S.W.A.T officer to get a hold of me?, you could told us and you could have called Mia."

Chapter 5

Brian said “Mia told me not to call or go there so I didn't know what to do.” Dom asked “what about calling me?” Brian said “I didn’t know if you kept the same number I had that I gave to the cops to save Vince. If I was smart I would of gotten ready of that number a long as time ago.” Dom said “yeah that is true!, why do you look hurt and tired?” Brian said “because I still have not healed from a car/boat accident and also someone hit me again after I won a race.” Dom said “oh!” Brian said “yeah.” Dom asked “are you going to be okay?” Brian said “yeah.” Dom asked “why did you go to S.W.A.T people?” Brian said “because I could not think of any way of getting a hold of you. I am kinda of scared of two people when it comes to their trampers, it's the brother and sister of this group.” Roman was the only that got it, and when he released no one else had he started to laugh, then said “really man?” Brian said “What they can be as bad as you” Roman said “ouch”. At that point Dom got it and said “Mia and I.” Brian and Roman said “yes”. Dom Said “good point.” Brian said “thank You.”

Chapter 6

Dom said "you are welcome, let's talk and see where we are going to go" Everyone said "okay." Roman could tell Brian was trying to stay awake. Roman said "alright that is enough." Roman got up and went to Brian and said "come on." Roman got Brian up. Brian said "thanks." Roman said "you are welcome." Roman said "come on let's go." Dom asked "where are you taking him?" Roman said "he needs to sleep." Dom said "okay." Roman got Brian to his bed. Dom saw that it was by the living room, and asked "do you want us to leave?" Roman said "um." Brian said "you can stay here. I am used to people being here when I am usually hurt or really tired." Dom said "okay." Brian laid down and closed his eyes.

Dom turned to everyone and said "let's talk but quietly. Everyone said "okay. Dom asked Roman "why is he used to people being here?" Roman said "because of the car/boat accident and people hitting him when he won the race and me, Tej or Tej's girlfriend was here watching over him to make sure he was okay during the night."

Chapter 7

Dom asked "how come someone hit him after his racing?" Roman said "Brian told me you are the king of LA, right?" Dom said "yes." Roman said "well Brian is the king of Miami." Roman said "no one likes it when Tej calls Brian because the white ass boy can be crazy when he drives." Dom was about to say something when Brian's phone went off. Brian went to move to get it but Dom got it off the coffee table. Dom answered it. Tej asked, "Do you want to drive?" Dom said "hell yeah." Tej said "oh fuck Brian is still hurt. I forgot, didn't I?" Dom said "yep." Dom said "I am on my way though." Tej said "okay."

Dom said "do not do something stupid." Tej said "got it." Dom and Tej got off the phone. Dom said "I am going to go and race." Roman said "that is good just don’t get into a fight please." Vince said "I will go and make sure." Roman said "okay." Dom and Vince left. Dom won the race, and left, when he got home he said "I won." Everyone said "that is good." Dom said "yeah." Dom said "the people that were there want Brian and I to race again to see who would win." Roman asked "Are you going to do it?" Dom said "we will see."

Chapter 8

Brian said "I think that it would be best to leave it as Dom won against them and that is that." Roman said "oh come on just this once." Brian said "no because if I win against him and then it has to be again and then whoever wins people will get mad at the person that won." Roman just pouted after that and then said "okay." Roman said "hey what are you doing up?" Brian said "I was coming out to ask you if we have any medicine." Roman said "absolutely not." Now it was Brian's turn to pout. Roman said "you know what happens when you take something." Brian said "fuck!, thanks" then walked off.

Brian was out of ear shot when Vince asked "what happened?" Roman said "a bad childhood like really bad, You think you all had it bad but hell no." Jesse asked, "Is his dad in jail." Brian texted Roman and said "go ahead and tell them." Roman looked at his phone and signed really heavily And said "no he doesn’t even know his dad he left his mom with 5 children at home. And after he left his mom started to do drugs. It got so bad that whenever she needed drugs she would allow people to hit her kids. It got to where Brian would ask me if his brothers and sister could come to my house. I said yes. But it got to the point where Brian would leave and come back hurt. And then he took two cars and got arrested. Brian went to juvie. Before he went in he asked me to look after his brothers and sister."

Chapter 9

Dom after hearing everything waited a while to be able to process the information and also allow Brian a chance to get his head around that the others now knew what was going on. He then went and found where Brian was and knocked on the open door frame, when Brian turned to look at him.
Don said "can I come in or do you want to be left alone, we don't have to talk if I come in".
Brian said "come on in, do you want to know what happened to my brother and sister?"
Dom said "yes but if you don’t want to, that is fine as well."
Brian said "well after I got out I came home. Roman really did a good job of helping my brother and sister. Well, one day my mom owed a lot of people and they came to get the money. But when they got there all they saw was my sister and brother freaking out as they had found my mom dead. They called me at work because that was one of the reasons why I was out so early."
Brian took a few calming breaths before continuing with "They asked me what do I do? I told them to call the cops, but before they could do that the guys that were looking for the money, killed both my brother and sister, I got on my work phone and called Roman and asked him to go see what happened. Roman ran over and the guys were gone. He found my brother and sister and got on the phone with me and said that they didn’t make it. I said to call the cops, he did. But I could not get off of work even when I told my boss what was going on. It took the cops to come and get me, before I was able to leave, I had three people to bury. I went to two, the other one I don’t know if people went to it."
Dom said "you didn’t go to your mom’s." Brian said "I always go to where my brother and sister are but never my mom’s, if I was to die I want to be buried by my brothers and sister. I brought five plots right next to each other."

Chapter Text

Chapter 10

Dom held onto Brian and just whispered words of apologies for what happened and words of comfort, when he felt it was ok to, he said "anytime you want to go visit their resting place I'd be happy to come with you even if I wait at the cemetery gates."
Brian said "you would really be willing to travel all that way just to wait in the car or at the gates even if I'm gone an hour or so."
Dom said "yes if it's what you wanted it could even be three hours."
Brian said "thank you."
Dom said "you are welcome."
Dom let Brian sit there for a few.
Dom said "I will let you be for a little bit."
Brian said "okay thanks."
Dom said "you are welcome." Dom got up and left.

Brian calmed himself down and went into the other room. Brian sat down and asked "what are we going to do now?"
Dom asked "do you want to go back to LA?"
Brian said "not really."
Dom said "okay I will see if everyone wants to move down here."
Brian said "okay."
Dom said "and you are moving in with us."
Brian said "okay."
Dom got his phone out and called his sister and the others who all agreed that they would move out with him, but Mia was shocked that Brian is living in a houseboat.

Chapter 11

Dom had found a house for his family that was not that far from Tej's garage. Dom had gotten what he brought into his room. Dom also got what Brian had with him as well, Which was not much and Dom did not like it at all. So he promised himself that he would get a lot of stuff for Brian.
Dom asked "Brian if he had anything of his brothers and sister?"
Brian said "I would have to ask Roman if he had kept their stuff for me."
Dom said "okay."
Dom went outside and found Roman and asked "do you have any of the things that belonged to Brian's brother and sister"
Roman said "yeah it's all still at my mom's house when I call her tomorrow I will ask about it."
Dom said "and if you do please send it here."
Roman said "yeah."
Dom said "thank you"
Roman said "you are welcome."

Mia and Letty showed up with everything from LA and Everyone went to help unload.
Roman yelled at Brian "go sit down right now."
Brian went to say but I wanted to help but was cut off by Dom pulling him over to the grill and asked "can you watch over the grill please"
Brian said "yeah."
Dom said "thank you."
Brian said "you are welcome."

Chapter Text

Chapter 12

The team started to unpack starting with the kitchen and with the plates and cutlery, before moving onto the cups and then the food. When the food was cooked they all sat around outside to eat. After they eat Roman called his mom. While Roman was talking on his phone with his mom everyone was cleaning up. Brian old boss came over.

Roman said "hey mom."
His mom said "hey son."
Roman said "I got a question for you."
His mom said "what is up?"
Roman asked "do you remember when I had that stuff of Brian brother’s and sister stuff?"
His mom said "yeah."
Roman asked "do you still have it?"
His mom said "yeah. Are you both hanging out again?"
Roman said "yeah."
His mom said "that is good."
Roman said "yeah."
His mom said "I will send it to you."
Roman said "thank you."
His mom said "you are welcome."
Roman said "love you goodbye."
His mom said "love you goodbye."

Roman came up to sit next to Brian, Vince, and Letty.
Brian's old boss asked Brian "Do you want to be a cop again?"
Brian said "no thank you."
Brian's old boss said "okay."
After that his old boss left.

Chapter Text

Chapter 13

Roman sent his address to his mother. His mom text back thank you. Roman next back saying you are welcome. Roman turned to Brian and said she will be sending it. Brian said thanks.

Roman said you are welcome. Brian and them was at the car shop working on some cars. Brian said I will go get some food for us. Everyone said okay thank you. Brian said you are welcome.

Brian got everyone's order. Brian got to the food store that Dom and his sister runs. Brian knew something was wrong. Brian pulled his gun and his phone out. Brian called 9-1-1.

Brian forgot for a little bit that he was not a cop no more. And out of habit he gave his badge number. The 9-1-1 looked up the number and said this one is no longer in use. Brian said fuck I gave you my badge number didn’t I? The 9-1-1 asked did you use to be a cop?

Brain said yes. He said my name is Brian O’Connor. But can I please start this over? The 9-1-1 said yes. Brian said this is Brian O’Connor.

Brian said I am going to get some lunch for my family and my boyfriend. I went up to the food store that my boyfriend and his sister runs. And there is something wrong. The 9-1-1 asked do you know what is wrong? Brain said no.

Brian said but I am about to go in. All I know is the windows are broken. The 9-1-1 said no. I got the cops coming now. Brian said look my family member could be hurt right now.

Brian said if anything happens to her and I did nothing to help her out then I will feel like I lost more family then what are ready lost. The 9-1-1 was about to say something but Brian hang up the phone. Brian dropped his phone. And he went up to the door. And he open the door.

Brian went in. Brian saw some people. And he could see that some were hurt. Brian went up to them. Brain asked where is the female of the store?

One of the people said in the back. Brian asked why? The same person said because the bad guys want all the money that is in here. Brian said okay thank you. The same person said you are welcome.

Brian said get out of here. He said help should be here soon. Everyone said okay. Brian said thank you. Everyone said you are welcome.

Brian said be careful. He said if you hear gunshots get down and stay still or move while down. Everyone said okay. Everyone started to leave. Brian went to go to the back. But the cops came in and pulled him out.

When they got back out. Brian started to yell and say let me go in there. One of the cops said we can’t let you go in there. Brian was going to say but the same cop said we know. Brian said then why did you take me out if you already knew?

The cop partner said because you are not a cop. Brian said I was a cop. I know what I am doing. The cop partner said yeah right. Brian said look up Brian Earl O’Conner.

Dom came up to Brian. And he put his arms around Brian’s arms. Dom asked what is going on here? Brian turns his head a little to look in Dom’s eyes. Brian told Dom what is going on.

Dom asked why are you out here. Because I know that you would help my sister out? Brian ask these cops. Dom went to do that but just then Mia came out. Brian and Dom ran up to Mia.

Dom asked are you okay? Mia said yes I am. Dom and Brian said that is good. And they pulled Mia into a hug. After a little bit they pulled a part.

One of the cops asked do you need to be seeing? Mia said no I am good. The cops said okay. The cop said if you do just go to the hospital. Mia said okay.

They left to go home. When they got home Roman said here you go Brian. Brian said thank you. Roman said you are welcome. And he said I just got it today.

Roman said it took a few days to get it. Brian said I will go put this in our room. Dom said okay. Brian left the room. Dom said I think Brian miss being a cop.

Roman asked why is that? Dom told everyone what happened. Roman asked so would we be okay if he went to being a cop again? Everyone said we don’t know. Brian said good because I am not going to be a cop.
