Jay groaned as he was thrown away from one of the sky pirates he was fighting and was knocked into Kai.
“Dude watch where you’re being thrown!” Kai called out.
“Well excuse me! I’ll ask them next time to throw me in a different direction!” Jay yelled as he got back up and launched himself into another attack.
“Uh can you guys be a little more serious when we have a djinn trying to kill us!” Cole called out, spinning into Spinjitzu to take down his set of sky pirates.
Once more Jay was thrown back into a bunch of crates breaking his fall.
“Why can’t we just wish our way out!” Lloyd asked roundhouse kicking a pirate off the ship.
“No!” Everyone yelled.
Jay groaned and jumped up, looking around he can see how his team was getting their butts kicked, thrown and tossed around like a bunch of amateurs.
And it was somewhat all his fault.
His final straw was seeing Nya struggling to hold her own against Nadakhan, seeing how he just stood there and watched.
He was hopeless.
“Jay why don’t you- ah crap- join us, instead of standing around.” Kai said ripping out the sword out of one pirate and using it himself.
Yelling was all he could hear around him, Jay shut his eyes tightly he just wanted this to end already.
“I WISH WE HAD A WAY OUT!” He yelled.
Nadakhan grinned and chuckled, “your wish is yours to keep.” He spoke.
Orange engulfed the group of five, swirling around them, the ground below had dropped out, yet the group were still floating.
“Jay what did you do!” Kai yelled.
“I thought we agreed no more wishing.” Lloyd said.
“Cleary not all of us agreed.” Cole spat.
“It’s weird how we’re still floating instead of falling to impending doom.” Zane observed.
“Not helping!” Kai called out.
Noises started to come around, yells, taunts, metal clashing.
Another fight?
The orange glow finally stopped swirling around them and the five fell to the hard ground, each landing on one another.
Groaning, Jay tried sitting up, yet seeing how he was cushioned underneath everyone deemed to be impossible.
“Get off.” He whined.
“Serves you right.” Cole said sliding off.
The sound of another fight made the group slide off one another, before looking over towards the other fight.
“Are those turtles?” Nya asked.
“More specially, a red eared slider, box turtle, soft shell, and an alligator snapping turtle, at least that’s what my scanners say.” Zane said.
Kai shivered, “let’s not anger the big red one then.”
They all mutually agreed, watching in fascination as the four turtles fought against paper ninjas with three other humans behind them- having flames and a foot shape on their face.
“So, are we helping them out or?” Cole asked.
Lloyd shrugged, but he was cut off before he could answer.
“Who are those pajama wearing guys?” The skinnier with the foot face asked pointing over to them.
“Busted.” Jay whispered.
The fighting ceased as the turtles looked over in shock, before they glanced back over at the humans.
“So, you guys from Jersey?” The blue masked one said.
The five of them all looked at each other, as if silently communicating with one another.
“Uh guys, the Foot is still over there.” The red one said turning around seeing the foot faced guys grab a small piece of metal before they threw down smoke and vanished.
“Aw man they got another piece of the dark armor.” The orange one said.
“I think we should talk about the elephant in the room.” The purple one spoke up.
The orange one gasped, “an elephant? Where?”
The purple one groaned, “the other ninja Michael.”
The youngest one had a small face of understanding before looking over at the over baffled group of ninjas.
“Hi! I’m Mikey.” He called out waving frantically.
Zane smiled and waved back until Cole forced his hand down.
The red one came up and spoke, “I- can we help you five?” He forced out.
Lloyd perked up, “can you just give us directions to Ninjago?” He asked.
“Nin- who know.” The blue said.
“Ninjago, it’s our home, y’know crazy stuff happens there, maybe you haven’t seen the evil sky pirates and genie trying to take over.” Jay rambled off.
“Nadakhan said he prefers to be called a djinn.” Zane said.
Jay sighed and shook his head.
Lloyd rubbed his temples, “can you just tell us how to get home.” He pleaded.
“We’d love too, but we’ve never heard of uh Ninjagah.” The red one explained.
“Ninjago.” Nya corrected.
The red one shifted uncomfortably, before the purple one spoke up.
“The internet has nothing containing a country called Ninjago, but maybe you guys know that you’re in New York?”
“New what?” Kai asked.
“My databases have no information on a New York.” Zane said.
The red one sighed, “let’s go back to our lair, and you can tell us your problem again, and we'll go from there?”
The other turtles nodded before they ushed the other ninjas out and made their way to an alleyway.
“IS THAT A TANK?” Kai yelled, they all gaped in amazement at the huge tank in front of them, it was nothing like the Bounty, but it was still highly impressive.
The purple one- Donnie or Othello as he explained had a smirk on his face, “oh this baby? I just built it myself, and it does in fact have a soft serve machine.” He said praising himself.
“Ice cream!” Kai, Cole and Jay yelled as they rushed in and went to the machine instantly.
Lloyd shook his head, “sorry about them, it’s been one heck of a day.”
Raph shrugged, “when you have three younger brothers you get used to it.”
“Raph.” He said holding his hand out.
Lloyd smiled and shook it, “I’m Lloyd, this is Zane and Nya.” He said pointing to the pair.
“The ones that ran in were Kai in the red, Jay in blue and Cole- he's a ghost.” Lloyd explained.
Raph nodded, “well I’m Raph, and my blue one is Leo, and then Donnie already introduced himself, and so did Mikey.” He rambled.
Lloyd smiled at him, “well thank you for helping us, I know our situation is quite different.”
Raph chuckled, “it’s no problem, we can talk more at the lair.” He said.
Lloyd nodded as the rest of them got into the tank and Raph drove them underground.
Back when everyone was underground and situated in the main living area of the lair, the talk finally begins.
“So.” Lloyd starts off, “are you guys’ sure there isn’t any Ninjago here?”
The four brothers nodded, “and are you sure there isn’t any New York in your world?” Mikey asked.
Donnie rolled his eyes, “obviously not if we haven’t heard of their world, which means by some universal breaking law they jumped through different dimensions.”
“We have other realms in our dimension but we can only travel there by the realm crystal, and we don’t have that anymore, I don’t think Nadakhan is that powerful to send us through different dimensions.” Nya said.
“Maybe Leo did it.” Mikey said.
Everyone looked towards the blue turtle who scoffed at them, “I can control my mystic sword just fine!” He said crossing his arms.
“Wouldn’t be the first time.” Donnie shot back.
“Well, does it really matter how we jumped dimensions, if uh Leo has a sword that can open portals, maybe he can just open one to our home.” Cole theorized.
Leo thought for a moment, “I’m sure I could do it, but it may not work the first time.”
“Or the hundredth time.” Donnie piped in.
“Oh, would you hush, I sent you to Tahiti one time!” He groaned.
“Maybe you should open a portal to there! It was so nice.” Mikey sighed happily.
Raph sighed, “no one is going back to Tahiti, Leo do you really think you could find their home?” He asked.
Leo nodded, “yes I’m sure of it, it’ll just take some time.”
Lloyd stood up, “we don’t have time on our side, we need to start now.” With everyone mutually agreeing, Leo got up and grabbed his sword.
“Okay so definitely don’t expect it to work the first time, but be prepared for anything.” He said.
Giving it a circular swing, the blue light started shining with a small opening to the other side.
Everyone piled through, weapons at in their hands ready to face any trouble they might encounter.
The portal closed behind them, looking around they were astonished to see an underwater city, seeing buildings and homes in the distant from the cliff they landed up, the group looked around.
“Where are we?” Jay asked looking around in amazement.
“How can we even talk, and breath underwater?” Kai asked.
“This sign says Bikini Bottom.” Mikey said pointing to the sign.
Leo sighed, “alright, let’s try this again.” He said swinging open another portal with the team stepping through.
Dark clouds gathered in the sky with a pink hue to them, stepping out into the alley the turtles shivered as snow fell around them.
“This feels like New York.” Donnie muttered.
“It is! I recognize this street.” Raph said as they made their way out of the alley.
Screams startled them, flying ships above, pink lasers being shot at with robotic aliens that have a brain in their stomach marched down the street.
A pained scream from a construction adjacent to them could be heard, as they rushed over.
Leo felt his stomach drop, seeing a tall man wearing the same armor him and his brothers were hunting down, but what really made his stomach twist was seeing a turtle, almost the same type as Mikey being kicked and thrown around, while he wore a blue mask.
His face hardened, “we’re helping him.” He said and jumped down, kicking the mutant fish away from the poor guy.
The rest quickly followed, taking on the opposing ninjas with a familiar foot symbol on them, the fight became much more serious.
Raph grabbed the unconscious turtle, it pained him to see someone so similar to his own brother- beaten and battered- as Cole spun into his Spinjitzu clearing a path for the bigger turtle to run through.
With the team finishing their current fight and retreating, the spiky armored man kept yelling profanities.
They brought the unconscious turtle, to his friend’s apartment, seeing alternate versions of themselves was short lived seeing as the army of robots and Foot ninja surrounded them.
Kai and Lloyd spin into Spinjitzu once more clearing a path for the alternate turtles to get into their friend’s van and speed off away from the city.
Sparring no time Leo swung his sword and everyone ran through just as pink lasers shot at them.
Groaning as they all hit the ground, a blaring alarm sounded off.
“Oh, come on! We just saved ourselves from an alien invasion, now what.” Jay complained.
Hearing Nya gasp they turned towards her, “it-it’s Ninjago! But it looks so much blockier.” She said.
“Should we be worried about that.” Lloyd said pointing to the huge volcano that was somewhat pretty close to the city.
Just then, a rumbled was felt as through the volcano a huge mech came out along with several aircrafts and underwater mechs that had shark men in them.
“OH YEAH GARAMDON IS BACK BABY!” The man- assuming Garamdon- yelled into his megaphone.
Lloyd paled at the sight and mention, his grief still high from losing his dad not that long ago once more.
“Take us out, now.” He said turning towards Leo.
He nodded and swung out another portal for them to go through.
Falling through the portal was never fun, yet this time the group fell and landed on a ship.
Flying in the air.
That had sky pirates.
Jay gasped and jumped up, “we’re home!” He called out.
The time cheered happily, just as Nadakhan appeared.
“What? How? That’s impossible!” He spat glaring at the nine of them.
“Is this the Nada- whoever guy you were talking about? Yeesh look at him.” Leo said joking.
Nadakhan glared at him, he yelled out an attack and chaos broke through.
Countless fights, injuries, bruising, busted lips, yelling, and almost falling off the ship. Jay fell to his knees and pulled Nya’s limp body towards him.
The guys from the back watched with a sorrow expression, they all knew how much she meant to him, even if it was one sided.
“I wish Clouse didn’t find that stupid lamp.” Jay choked out, Nadakhan in range of hearing his final wish, his smirked diminished.
“Your wish is yours to keep.” He mumbled off, using the last of his energy to fulfill it.
The world swirled around them, with the turtles yelling as they faded out of sight, the others found themselves on the hospital rooftop.
Only this time, they weren’t seen.
