The taste of soda on his toungue, the smell of a hot pepperoni pizza, the sounds of a Harry Potter movie, and the feeling of Chase's hands on Riley's own was all the boy needed to feel happy right now.
His worries felt like they were flying away, and all that remained in his mind was Chase. Every little thing about Chase, the warmth of his hand, his little ways of showing affection, his obsession with Harry Potter, Riley could go on and on about everything he loves about Chase and never run out of things to say.
He rubbed his thumb on the back of Chase's hand, feeling every bump or scab on it from falling off his skateboard. Chase's smile widened and Riley could see a small blush on his face, which was probably 10× more powerful on Riley's own.
Riley loved how warm Chase's hands were, compared to Riley's cold ones. They complimented eachother perfectly, in each and everyway.
Riley looked at each deatil of Chase's body. First, he noticed the scratches and band-aid's from falling off his skateboard on his legs and arms. Second, he noticed the cute scribbles on his hands he drew when he was bored. Third, he noticed the scars on his wrists, from night's Riley would never tell anyone about. Fourth, he noticed the goofy smile on his face, from watching Harry Potter.
Everything about Chase made Riley's heart flip, and Riley hoped it was the same for Chase. "I love you.." Riley blurted out, and quickly covered his mouth with his hands.
Chase's face went red, but he played off how flustered he was. "Oh, really?" Chase said in a flirty tone.
"Yeah, I love you." Chase's face went an impossibly deeper red. Riley smiled at how flirty he tried to be only to get flustered when flirted with.
Chase smiled "I love you too." Riley blushed and smiled. Chase cupped the other boy's cheeks.
"Can I kiss you?" Riley hummed and they shared a gentle but passionate kiss. Chase wrapped his arms around Riley's back in a warm embrace. It seemed like the kiss lasted hours, and honestly, neither of them would really mind.
"I love you, more than you'll ever know."
