   Summary

   Elliott Witt is the newest Apex Legend. His first day aboard the main ship, he meets Caustic: a brilliant scientist with a mysterious past and a bad reputation. Despite the warnings of everyone around, he can't help how his emotions develop. From working with Caustic in his laboratory and becoming friends with him to falling in love - all while making friends and playing in the Apex Games - it's a breathtaking journey that he wouldn't trade for anything.

   Eventually, however, Caustic's true identity is unwillingly revealed and the consequences involve Elliott being abducted by a well-known marauding group known as "Dark Matter." How will Alexander play the hand he's been dealt? Will Elliott be clever enough to escape on his own? Only time will tell.
