   Butcher snarls, then takes another swig of whiskey before he sets the bottle down on the dining table. “It won’t cause us any trouble, Hughie.”
   Hughie scoffs and rolls his eyes, walking up to the dining table and standing opposite where Butcher is. “Right, yeah. Tell me that when FEDRA kicks our door in at three in the morning, alright?”"

   Hughie and Butcher, in the summer of 2026, set out on a journey. Homelander is still out there, and information has been difficult to find for a while, but Butcher has a lead.
   Or, Butcher and Hughie from the summer of 2026, to the spring of 2027, set in the Last of Us world. Set vaguely post-canon for the Boys.
