Oops! I'm a God

Summary:

Eiden wasn't human... And he hadn't mentioned it to the others...

Oops?

Work Text:

Eiden had always thought mortals as dull. Sure, they had their moments. But he could only be so patient with them for so long. True he was the god of pleasure and desires. Yet there was always a period of downtime with his… job or statues. That wasn’t to say that he was bored doing what he did. He just needed some spice in his life. That was why he originally thought that disguising as one of the mortals was fun. But now he was starting to rethink that idea now. He was just about to leave and possibly bother another god he knew could be around. But then he was stuck with the crystal at the last minuet.

And well, it was just chaos from there. Eiden could still feel his connection to Earth and hear his followers' prayers. So he was sure that he could go back. Even without the crystal’s help. Then he had gotten roped into all this Huey nonsense. He actually knew about this guy, it had been years and years ago but still. From what he could remember, the old hat had talked alot about this Klein. Along with this “Grand Sorcerer” gig he had built up. He never paid much attention to it at the time. But when he mentioned sex slaves, well he wasn’t very sure about it. Even now that he learned about the whole essence thing.

Honestly humans did bore him, but having a whole harum chained to him in some way was too far. He was starting to regret giving some power to him. It had been so long, that the magic connecting them had become something akin to their heart. He could remove it from them all if he wished. But there was still a high chance of death, and it was far more work then he was willing to do. He was also trying to keep the fact of him being immortal on the down low. While he had manage to fool the little fox (He could only imagine the laugh he and Inari-sama would share over this).

Being able to explain that he was an immortal god was just… well. He didn’t want to tell them yet. Being in this world was so much more fun then back on Earth. Eiden was just loving everything this world had to offer. He was starting to enjoy being seen as a real hero in a way that he could totally get behind. And in a very small part of his heart, he was scared. Scared of losing them still seeing him as human. However, he should’ve known better than to hope.

They had been on a simple mission, check the area for monsters. Easy right? Well that was before they had been ambushed by a swarm of said monsters. It was just like the Dead Zone all over again. Maybe that was what made him freeze up. That one moment, which was enough for one of the creatures to land the blow. It happened in slow motion almost, the claws slashed his chest. Yet he didn’t feel the pain, he just fell to the ground. Blurry vision made it hard to focus on what was happening. He could vaguely hear screams and yells. Or was that his own screams? He didn’t know, but he was starting to feel the pain spread.

He didn’t want to move, worried that would only make it worse. He looked up, and though black spots clouded his fading sidght. He fought to stay conscious.Quincy was staring at him with wide eyes, not even moving. “I… Q-quincy…” He choked on something in his throat. His blood, that was now coming up his mouth. That seemed to knock Quincy out of his shock. He ran over and picked Eiden up. The screams and pain came back. But Quincy ignored it all as he ran with him in his arms. The hoard of monsters chasing after them. Eiden could feel that his healing was getting to work asap.

But he also knew they both were running on fumes, and the monsters were on their tails. Eidenwas yelling at Quincy to hurry away, to forget him and go. But the huge man refused, and then he saw the sames claws reach for Quincy. He moved and let it get his side. He felt the pain, then blackness filled his vision.

He came to in his room, with Kuya watching him. “F–king! Kuya!” he hissed as he sat upright. Though the hand on his chest forced him back down. “Ow… Ugh! I’m still sore, you sadistic little-”, “How did you do that?” He knew then, possibly Quincy and Olivine as well. That was fine, but now he had an angry little fox to sooth. He let his pained face turn to a grin. He let a little of his divinity out, and Kuya saw it. But he was too slow to react to what happened next. Without missing a beat, Eiden flipped their positions and held the cute angry fox down with his magic. “Wouldn’t you like to know, little fox?”

He cooed as he began to make out with the growling fox under him. Business first, talking later after all.
