“No,” Sabo said, eyes wide and head shaking. “No, no.”
“No,” Ace agreed, crossing his arms, “No, no, no.”
“Guys,” Luffy whined, drawing the word out with a frown at them. He wrapped his arms around the arm of the boy he had brought home. “This is Torao, he’s my boyfriend.” He said, smiling up at the man who looked as uncomfortable as Ace felt.
“Luffy,” Sabo trailed, sending a suspicious glance at the man. “Why don’t we talk about this…in private without him.”
“Torao,” Luffy said, glaring at them slightly, “is my boyfriend, there isn’t anything to talk about.”
“How did you meet him?” Ace asked, looking between the man who had death literally tattooed to his fingers and his innocent baby brother.
“We met because of Nami,” Luffy said mater of factly, “She’s friends with his friend.”
“Okay, okay,” Ace muttered, tapping at his chin, “How long have you been dating?”
“Three months,” Luffy said.
“Three months!?” Sabo and Ace sputtered.
“And you didn’t tell us?” Sabo asked.
“You guys didn’t ask…” Luffy tilted his head and, yeah, they should’ve seen that one coming.
“Fine,” Sabo muttered, “And what’s your name, Torao? What do you do for a living? Have you had any other lovers? Where did you got to school? Do you want children?”
“Um, my name is Trafalgar Law,” Luffy’s boyfriend started, “I’m in residency, I’m going to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. I’ve never been in a relationship before Luffy, I went to school at Sabaody University, I don’t necessarily want children–” he looked down at Luffy and seemed to rethink he statement, “I mean, we can talk about it later on, if that’s something you want?”
“Okay, shishishi,” Luffy snickered.
Sabo paused with a thoughtful expression but when he went to speak, Ace cut him off.
“Do you love him?” Ace asked.
Law stared at him for a long, long moment. “I do.”
Ace looked over to Sabo and Sabo frowned but shrugged.
“Fine, we’ll accept it.” Sabo muttered.
“But hurt him and I will rip your spine out,” Ace added.
“Torao,” Luffy hugged him closer, “They like you!”
“It certainly doesn’t feel like it.” Law muttered, but his expression softened, and he smiled at Luffy.
Ace looked at them thoughtfully. He had a feeling this guy wasn’t going to hurt Luffy in the slightest.
“Say, Trafalgar, you like football?” Ace asked, throwing an arm over the man’s shoulder and tugging him to the couch.
“Um, not particularly.” Law muttered.
“Great!” Ace cheered, sitting him onto the couch, “Sabo, get the snacks?”
“Lu, come help me with the drinks.” Sabo added, grinning.
“Okay, so the team you’re going to root for is them,” Ace started, grinning sharply, “You’ll do great, trust me,”
“Right…” Law muttered and then yelped as Ace flopped onto him, snoring.

“I can’t do this,” Law sputtered, panicking.
“Hey, calm down, you got this.” Ace soothed, guiding Law to the floor length mirror.
“No, seriously, I can’t.” Law said. “Luffy is like amazing, and I’m just,” he waved at himself, “He deserves someone better!”
“No, no,” Ace said sternly, “Who the fuck got that into your brain, I’ll go kick them into the sidewalk.”
“Ace you can’t honestly think I’m good for him,” Law said mournfully, “What was I thinking, asking him to marry me? Making him stay with this mess forever?”
Ace knocked his fist lightly against Law’s forehead, “Hey, come on,” he said and Law looked over to him. “I have never seen Luffy so happy before, and he’s always been a pretty happy kid, but when you’re around he sort of just…lights up. It’s insane how happy you make him.”
“So,” Ace continued, “Let’s get that tie on and you walking down that aisle so you can finally be my official brother-in-law.”
Law rolled his eyes, but he smiled and started to fold his tie. Ace watched with a grin and once Law was smoothing down the fabric of his suit, Ace turned him by his shoulders and pulled him into a hug.
“Hey, I’m actually pretty glad you’re marrying my kid brother,” Ace muttered. “You’re a great guy, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, okay?”
“Yeah,” Law muttered, nodding his head. He smiled at Ace, “I’m pretty glad to be your brother-in-law too.”
“Ah-ha!” Ace slapped his back as they started towards the door, “Knew I’d grow on you!”
“Yeah, yeah, Freckles-ya,” Law smirked, “Now let’s go find my dad so he can walk me down the aisle.”
“That’s the spirit!” Ace chirped. "Maybe we can make a stop for some food on the way?"
"Maybe, if you're quick about it." Law challenged.

“Man, I can’t believe my baby brother’s getting married before I am,” Sabo mumbled as he tightened Luffy’s tie.
“Ne, just ask someone to marry you.” Luffy beamed at him. “But not Torao, you can’t have him, he’s mine.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Sabo snorted, “I’ll keep that in mind, Loof.”
