Chapter Text
Okay, for this one I’m thinking some humor, heavy on the dramatic irony, so….after years of dealing with their strained relationship, the rest of the batfam decides it’s time to force Tim and Jason to make nice. They don’t need to be best friends, but they do at least need to be able to work together.
One by one, the other bats try to stage interventions/force communication/whatever. They each have their own individual plan and each one fails miserably (but also funnily). Finally, after all of their plans crash and burn, they meet up again to commiserate on how their efforts are apparently doomed, Jason and Tim will just never get along :(
….Then the final section is Tim and Jay in a totally domestic scene, on a date, joking about the sex they’re gonna have later, talking about how weird everyone’s been the last few days. They come to the conclusion the rest of the bats must know their anniversary is coming up and are planning some kind of cheesy surprise party for them or something. They’re definitely gonna arrange to be out of town.
Plot twist, they’ve been dating for ages and not even hiding it. The others are just totally oblivious/blind and assumed Jay and Tim’s efforts to remain professional in the field were signs of barely contained dislike instead of barely contained burning passion.
Then for maximum lols there’d be a second chapter showing all those intervention attempts from Tim and Jason’s point of view.
