And they were Roommates! (Trickster x Male Reader)

Summary:

Survivors and killers have to spend over an hour everyday in a little cafè in the town, not even knowing why.
They only know the entity wants it, so they do it.

Y/n is a new survivor in the entitys realm.
The survivors live in small tents for a little long time, until the owner of the cafè and the entity work together to make a possibility for everyone to get closer with eachother.
A mansion where killers and survivors have to live together.
There are always two people in one room, always survivor with survivor and killer with killer, but what happens when there are uneven numbers?

Mention of rape/sa, not trying to romanticise it and I'm very sorry if it feels like that. The reader is NOT going to get raped/rape someone.

Notes:

This is maybe going to have horrible writing and get updated only once a few weeks/months.
Also some parts of this story are already cringe (end chapter 5) , I'm sorry for that
This story is also findable on Wattpad, because I'm more used to that. This is my first time using AO3 btw

Update; 16th August.
Fuck Wattpad, AO3 is better. I update as often as I can (often even multiple days in a row).
The story gets better with every chapter hopefully.

Chapter 1: the campfire

Chapter Text

Darkness. The last thing you've felt was similar to some kind of thick, warm, liquid-like smoke.

You couldn't remember anything that has happened before you came here.

"Is he awake?"
"I think he is going to wake up soon."
"alright, I'll go to sleep."
"Okay, good night"

The voices sound weird, so far away and yet so close.
You've never heard them before.
Who did these voices belong to?
You heard footsteps getting quieter.

The darkness lifted itself, it got lighter.
Very light.
Too light.

You opened your eyes just to find yourself starring into a fire.
Directly into the blightest spot.
You groan and look away.

"Heeyy"
Someone swifted into your sight.
You blinked a few times, still blended by the flame untill you
were able to look at them without seeming like an idiot due to your uninterrupted blinking.
"Huh?"
The person staring into your soul had short blonde hair and brown eyes that looked a little orange.
She had a pretty face shape.

"Hey, did you sleep well?"
She asked. You nodded.
"Where am I, who are you?"
"Oh, my name is Cheryl Mason.
It's kind of hard to explain where we are. Especially since you don't seem like you're fully awake."
Her smile was nice.
So warm, calming.

"How about you, what's your name?"
"Y/n. Y/n L/n."
You smiled back. You felt safe with her.

You looked around. It felt weird doing this now, so late, when there was so much time to do that before.

The both of you were sitting at a big campfire, in a semi buried barrel with rocks around.
There were long logs laying around the fire. Like the one you were sitting on.

Looking behind the campfire you saw rows of small, dark tan green tents.
Some of them had fairy lights in their entrances. There where little paths inbetween them, decorated with rocks.

You turned around to see a forest.
The trees were huge, impressively huge.
The only thing separating you from the forest was a small stream.
"Is there something behind there?" you ask.
"yes..." Cheryl follows your view.
"I'll explain everything tomorrow, I promise. You should go to sleep.
Come on, I show you your tent."
She says, you both stand up.

You walk between the tents, the moon, the fire and the fairylights are the only light sources.
You arrive at a tent without fairylights. "There we are. Sleep well y/n" she says, "Yea you too"
you answer. She turns around and takes the path back.
Seems like her tent isn't close to yours.

You open the zipper and go into your tent.
It was around 1×2 meters wide and 1,50 meters tall.
At both ends were closable zipper windows, you started checking out the interior.
There was a small table with some things; a flashlight, a key, a map and a medkit.
Next to the table there was a box.
You kneed down and looked through it.
It was filled with your clothes, jewelry and your car keys.
In the coolbox next to there were some drinks.
Your throat felt weird so you grabbed into it, and chucked whatever you got down.

You stucked the empty plastic bottle behind the coolbox and turned around.
There was a tower of blankets over an small matress. With like three pillows and a big, airy blanket.
You catched yourself yawning,
so you decided to lay down.
It took you a few minutes to fall asleep. Maybe even an hour,
you were busy thinking about this place.
About what you knew, and what could be.
