Susie doesn’t care about anything or anyone but the Legion. Frank, Joey, and Julie are her best friends in this or any world, and she’ll do anything it takes to keep them in her life. Nobody else matters to her.
But then she meets a weird goth girl in one of the trials, and for some reason she can’t stop thinking about her.
Her spiralling thoughts lead to transgressive actions that go against everything the Legion and the Entity expect of her. But the more she pulls away from them, the more she wonders if they were ever good for her in the first place.

We Survivors don't always remember the Trials, but what little the Entity allows us to remember leaves us with scars that may never heal. At least, I'm not fighting for my life on my own anymore...
