Levi was not supposed to exist.
Then again, neither was Eren, but there was a distinct difference between being an immaculate conception from a mother who by all rights shouldn't have been able to a pregnancy to term and a veritable lord of the underworld who had been alive since the time of the great Black Plague. Yet there was more than enough to prove his existence, from the cool skin that would brush against his in loving touches that sent chills racing up his spine to the gentle, painful pricks of teeth slipping into his neck, and so much more.
