“You are such a baby” “ I am not” replied the little mer , who frantically swam backwards. Kacchan and his friends were picking on him again . So what if he was the tiniest mer here, he can still help and do things , he wasn’t a useless deku.
“Then prove it” Kacchan confidentiality said, motioning at the big dark blue almost Black Sea . The part of the ocean that was so deep and dangerous that they weren’t allowed to go. You can sometimes hear the screams of monsters if you listen closely enough.
“ But mom said we aren't allowed to go over there” Izuku said shakily, mom would be so mad and treat him like a little baby and tend to his wounds and tell him it will be okay , which he is not a little baby.“Fine , then be a useless deku” Kacchan laughed meanly at the little mer and swam away with his friends.
Izuku all alone now wanted to prove that he can be brave and strong like all might, the greatest warrior of his pod, or like Eraserhead , who is the fastest and most sneaky mer out there. He can do it , He can go out there for a minute, to prove that he wasn’t a deku. I’m not a baby, Izuku whispered to himself, and slowly swam out to the forbidden area.
“Can we go back now? '' The smaller of the two sirens whined. They were swimming in the deeper parts of the ocean for hours, trying to find something big to hunt “No little brother , I want to see if there is anything interesting over here to snack on , maybe there is a big shark” The bigger siren spoke with a little laugh. His immediate response was with a disbelieving look from his younger brother. “What” asked the big siren with mock offense.
“Don’t play innocent Hisashi” the younger siren spoke with an eye roll “You just wanted to pick a fight with that warrior mer , all might was he '' They were all the way near the cove where a pod of mer would live nearby. And a couple years ago , The warrior mer had a fight with his big brother, Hisashi was so happy that he finally could find someone who he could fight and not immediately die. “Don’t you have enough scars?” The younger siren mockingly said.
“It will just be for a second, and I’m proud of all of my scars , I will have you know.” Hisashi spoke with a little laugh, after Yoichi called him out. “You know one day you are going to accidentally kill him and you will lose all of your fun” Yoichi calmly replied back , looking forward in the distance, and seeing a faint tiny green blur.
“He is way too strong to die by us sparring.” Hisashi replied, offended. Not hearing a reply, he decided to look where his little brother was looking , and say a green blur. Grinning and showing all of his very sharp teeth , he immediately swam after it . “ A snack” Hisashi screamed and immediately started to chase the green blur when they heard a little screech and the green blur was out of Yoichi’s sight.
“ Big brother , No” Yoichi screamed after him , and started to frantically swim to catch up but he was a lot smaller so it will take him more time.”I hope it’s poisonous, or maybe a pufferfish so you will get stabbed” Yoich called out who finally found his older brother who was standing still while looking at something with surprise and was that ,adoration” “What is it” ,Yoich called out and immediately stopped when he saw what got his older brother , who kills sharks for fun , frozen.
A little mer , who could fit on top of yoichi's hand which were a lot smaller than Hisashi, was frozen stiff between a little crack in the walls. “What did you do?!” Yoichi yelled while slapping his big brother on the arm. “It actually wasn’t me this time “ Hisashi replied with a wince , Yoichi can be mean if he wants to” Yoichi noticing the little mers flinch with big green eyes flooded with tears looking at him, so ,so scared. Yoichi gently sat down and had a small kind smile on his face. “Hi little one , my name is Yoichi, and the big idiot Mer over there is Hisashi . We aren’t going to hurt you ” Yoichi said, pointing at Hisashi who just looked offended.
“Mer” Izuku replied excitedly, maybe they could help him find his pod , he was swimming for what felt like hours and he had to swim even faster when the big evil mer started chasing him. And the smaller Mer seems really nice.
“Mer?” Hisashi, said with a frown , was his younger brother finally going crazy. “Yes Mer '' Yoichi stated with a glare at his Big brother. Hisashi who finally caught on , nodded slowly while still frowning.” What are you doing little one , where is your pod?” Yoichi kindly asked the little green mer who was finally getting out from the rocks he was hiding next too.
“ I got lost “ the little mer replied with a sad chirp. “ Aww it’s okay , baby , we’ll go help you find your pod” Spoke Yoichi who now has a green mer in his hand , the green mer finally swam closer when he realized he wasn’t in any danger.” Really “ Izuku said happily, and swam around Yoichi and landed safely on Yoichi's head. Like how baby mers do to their parents when they're tired or just want to play.
“Of course” Yoichi replied with a little laugh. The little mer was just so adorable. “What no , we are not giving him back!” Hisashi, who just had to ruin the good mood, replied . Izuku, noticing the switch of moods , immediately swam away back near the rocks with a scared little chirp. “Shhhh, it’s okay baby , we are going to help you find your pod.” Yoichi spoke softly then proceeded give his brother the meanest glare.
“No we are not , he’s mine” Hisashi replied with a small flinch. His brother's glares can be really scary. “We are not keeping him” Yoichi basically yelled , yes the little mer was adorable, and he would probably be the best little brother to Tomura but , they can’t just take another mer from his pod. “We kept Tomura” Hisashi smartly replied.”That was different, Yoichi screeched back.
Izuku, who was curled up next to the rock, just wanted to go home. He didn’t care if his mama would be mad at him and treat him like a baby , he wanted to go home .But the mean big mer won’t let him, Izuku thought , and gave the meanest glare to the big mer. But looking at the mer , he looks a lot bigger than his pods people and his tail looks like it will be faster and it was a lot longer. And his claws, claws? Mer don’t have big claws like that . Izuku thought frantically.
Only sirens have claws like that, Izuku thought when he realized what the two mers really are.Sirens. Izuku found out with a tiny fearful chirp. Noticing The two sirens still arguing , he decided that he needed to go home now.
Izuku, seeing his chance with sirens still arguing, began to frantically swim away with a little chirp. The brother’s seeing the little mer swimming away, immediately swam after him. “Hey it’s okay , we’re not going to hurt you” Yoichi called out.
Izuku, seeing a little crack in the wall, immediately swam near it hoping he could get away from the mean siren. Reaching out he could almost touch the wall , then he was in darkness. Feeling around he was surrounded by a wall on all sides .
With fearful chirps Izuku tried to escape but the walls wouldn’t bulge. “Shhhh , don’t do that little mer, you're going to hurt yourself, '' was cooed at him , by what sounded like the mean siren. Izuku felt around and realized it wasn’t a wall but it was hands .Izuku Immediately hissed at the mean mer , trying to tell him to let him out.
Hisashi, finally satisfied with catching the little mer, was purring happily. Yoichi finally caught up with the two and gave his brother a scowl.” We really can’t keep him , Big brother, he has a family that probably loves him.” Yoichi calmly told him and put a hand on his shoulder. “Did you see how small and skinny he is?” Hisashi worldly told him and moved his hand a little bit so they could see the mer but the little mer couldn’t leave.
The little mer immediately swam to the back of Hisashi's hands with another scared chirp. “Well he’s probably a runt , that’s why he’s so small” Yoichi told his big brother but he was worried about the little mer , pods can be cruel to runts. “ Not only is he small but he is in the most dangerous part of the ocean , his pod was probably mean to him and kicked him out. Hisashi exclaimed , all he had to do was convince his little brother and than he could have a new son.
And if he has to kill a whole pod like he did with Tomuras pod when he found him , then so be it. But by looking at his little brother's face , he already knows he agrees with him. “Fine , but this is the last one and you're not allowed to kill his pod.” Yoich finally sighed out. Tomura has been wanting a brother for some time and Hisashi has been getting restless because Tomura is growing up. And if he likes being an uncle , than so be it.
“Fine” Hizachi reasoned with , it’s not like it matters , He already has his little baby. The baby mer was staring up at him with green fearful eyes, but that’s okay they will all love him and take care of him. He will be such a safe and happy mer. Yoich went up next to his brother and started to lightly hum.
Looking down with complete adoration.The little mer was fighting the pull of sleep but he was laying down with his eyes drooping. “It’s okay , my little baby, go to sleep, your family will be here when you wake up. Hisashi spoke softly to the little mer and kept talking until the mer fell asleep. “Let’s go home , Tomura will be so happy to have a new baby brother” Yoichi spoke softly, as to not wake up the sleeping mer , who was now curled up to his new dad’s collar bone. “Yes , he will , Hisashi grinned back.
