In the Shire there were two truths. The Tooks were odd and the Baggins were respectable. The Baggins family dealt in contracts and favours, and while the Shire knew that the Tooks were odd, it was the Baggins family that had other blood running through their veins.
Bilbo Baggins did not go running out his door for want of an adventure, he went running out his door because of a terribly worded contract and a laughable quest that somehow held the spark of other.
In this story, it is not the Tooks that held fae blood in their family tree, it is the Baggins, and theirs is so much closer to the surface.- Language:

Summary
Cal Kestis has a strange ability. He can't seem to die.
Whenever he dies, the Force itself brings him back hours or minutes before it happened. It has come handy in the fight against the Empire. But Cal himself has mixed feelings about it, considering he never seems to be able to change anything else than his own death.
A mutual obsession with Darth Vader however puts him in a strange position, and the next thing he knows, he is falling back through time to his childhood. Now Cal is mere days away from the very start of the Clone Wars. He's not sure how Vader managed to break the barriers between times, but Cal is going to use this chance to destroy the Empire before it even began.
Meanwhile everyone else is horrified by Anakin Skywalker's newly acquired padawan, who just seems to know the battlefield a bit too well.

Summary
Peter Parker loses everything to save the universe—and then loses the universe anyway.
After being launched into Gotham by a multiversal maniac with a deeply personal vendetta, Peter wakes up as a kid again in a city he doesn't recognize. There's someone called Batman here. There are way too many Robins. Something called a Justice League exists, and Peter is pretty sure this is what copyright infringement feels like.
Gotham already lost its Spider-Man once, it's not letting this one go so easily.
(Somehow, Peter finally finds a home.)
