    Draco knows getting caught up in Potter's half-plans has certainly not been particularly intelligent and could mean anything or nothing, but curiosity is just an untamable beast that, like a siren, taunts the sweetest thoughts and devours you skin and hair until your heart lies naked and throbbing sore in its hands and then is swept away by the even more relentless, storming ocean ... into the unknown, into darkness. But in the distance a small beacon flickers, so unreachable and deceptive, and Draco, against all sane, human and sublime reason that hammers at him until his head throbs painfully, drifts straight toward it, for it illusionarily bears the name of Hope, something Draco, with unshakable willpower, refuses to believe in.
