Thank you to the BM KinnPorsche crew for being such great cheerleaders throughout the vid-making process and for encouraging me to start this when inspiration struck (song discovery to mostly-completed vid was about...36 hours), and to nu_breed and oliviacirce for the excellent betas (shoutout to O for finishing the series and immediately pulling off TWO vid betas, ilu).
I love this vid very much because this isn't really my vid song style OR my vid editing style, but the song fit was so good I couldn't not try, and it turned out to be something beyond what I could have imagined. I also love Porsche with my whole entire being and working on this vid just made me love him MORE, what an incredible character.
If you haven't watched KinnPorsche, the show has a very clear and strong visual motif of the mafia being represented by water; when this song popped up on my spotify discover weekly playlist and "I'm not drowning" repeated at the end, I knew I had to give it to Porsche, a character who is both incredibly resilient and adaptable while never straying from his own personal moral code. It's a hard balance to strike, especially in a mafia story, but they pulled it off brilliantly.
