Summary
That morning, Kakashi found himself being called in last minute to see the Hokage. His plans were changed, a mission for Team 7 re-assigned, all so Kakashi could play babysitter for no other than Uchiha Sasuke himself. The boy had apparently started his first heat and with no family to take care of him. Kakashi knew how that felt. He'd had to navigate becoming an alpha all on his own too. And being Sasuke's sensei, an alpha he was comfortable and familiar with, the Hokage thought this would make Kakashi the perfect choice to help Sasuke through his time of need. That reasoning seemed flawed, at best, but Kakashi couldn’t think of a better alternative either.
Doomed... they were both doomed and Kakashi was certain of it the moment Sasuke's scent hit his nose.
