He wanted to tell Seth that he looked beautiful like this, red eyes with tear streaks, hair a mess and face flushed, but he knew that the God would take it the wrong way, so, alas, he held his lips shut.
Instead, he tucked a loose strand of red away from the pale face, almost pulling his hand back in utter shock and surprise once his uncle leaned into his touch, before he relaxed once more, realizing just how tired his uncle seemed.
Perhaps, perhaps if his father had realized how to treat the desert, perhaps he would have found his oasis, instead of rotting in duat.
