Time of Love ||SEONGJOONG||

Summary:

Seonghwa has always been a 'no-strings-attached' kind of guy, preferring one-night stands or flings instead of dating, but his whole world turns upside-down when his heart starts beating a little too fast for a handsome stranger with bright blue hair in a nightclub.

Chapter 1: Part 1

"No."

The number of times Seonghwa had uttered the two-letter word was beginning to reach a ridiculous amount, and yet every time he said it, there seemed to be absolutely no effect on the younger black-haired male.

"Oh, come on! It'll be fun, I promise!" Wooyoung whined. Seonghwa let another sigh leave his lips as he stared down at the frustratingly clingy and persistent male that refused to leave his presence for a second.

Seonghwa was surprised he hadn't completely lost his mind with how crazy his roommate was. Ever since the beginning of the year, Seonghwa had tried his hardest to not snap when he realised his dorm roommate was going to be the annoyingly loud boy from orientation.

He kept to himself, only politely acknowledging Wooyoung's existence whenever he crossed the younger in the kitchen in the mornings, but Wooyoung obviously had other plans. One thing led to another, and with a few drinks, the two immediately connected and now Wooyoung stuck to Seonghwa's side like a parasite.

Wooyoung was, to say the least, a very unique individual who didn't seem to care what others thought of him. He was a brat and extremely arrogant in some aspects, yet he was the most selfless and loving person Seonghwa had ever known.

Usually, Seonghwa would've hated having someone so intrusive living with him, but after getting to know Wooyoung, it was extremely difficult to not want to take care of and love him, no matter how annoying he got.

However, it was in moments like these that Seonghwa truly wished he had applied for a single room.

"Hyung, please! You can't stay holed up in here forever." Wooyoung huffed and he snatched the pen from Seonghwa's grasp, earning a hard glare.

He could honestly, but he wasn't sure Wooyoung would appreciate hearing such a thing.

"Jung Wooyoung, I have finals coming up and so do you." Seonghwa crossed his arms over his chest. "Instead of wasting time going to parties, why don't you actually study so you pass this semester?" He scolded.

"Sorry, I'm not good enough for you, mom," Wooyoung said while rolling his eyes but he refused to hand back Seonghwa's pen. The shorter male chucked it onto the floor, and ignoring Seonghwa's accusing glare, he made himself comfortable on the table in front of the older.

"When was the last time you actually had fun?" He asked with an incredulous look on his face that made Seonghwa scowl.

"I have plenty of fun studying for exams." Seonghwa huffed sarcastically and Wooyoung rolled his eyes again.

That was a complete lie, but Seonghwa wasn't about to let Wooyoung know that. In fact, he didn't hate studying but it would definitely be placed at the bottom of his list of 'fun' things to do. He'd much rather build the new lego set that his brother got him for his birthday, or spend some time rearranging and cleaning out his room.

"I meant when was the last time you went out and had fun with people? I don't think I've seen you leave the house ever since that last fling of yours ended badly." Wooyoung smirked but Seonghwa only groaned loudly at the memory.

"Oh god, don't remind me." He muttered while rubbing his tired eyes.

It was a horrid memory for Seonghwa, more embarrassing than anything. You see, he was a complete 'no-commitment type of person and he had been this way since middle school when he realised had absolutely no interest in dating.

He was sexually active but that was all he ever really cared for. He didn't want to have to worry about calling someone else, making sure if they had eaten their lunch and asking them if they missed him. Not that he didn't do that for Wooyoung, but for the younger black-haired male, it was in more of a motherly sense, like a parent looking out for their kid.

A rebellious, loud and terrifying kid.

Sure he wouldn't mind being affectionate and getting to know his sexual partners personally, but that would only lead to him becoming friends with benefits and nothing more.

Romance was an ick to him, really.

So when his last fling, Lee Juyeon, a senior from campus had gotten a bit too romantic after they had sex a few times, Seonghwa had cut him off immediately. It resulted in him having to constantly wear a mask over his face and he had to sneak around the university campus so he wouldn't accidentally run into the tall handsome man.

Don't get him wrong, he would've gladly continued whatever they had, but the moment Juyeon would start confessing to him about feelings, Seonghwa wanted nothing more than to disappear.

"I still can't believe that you're more of the whore out of the two of us." Wooyoung tutted but Seonghwa winced at his choice of words.

"Please don't put it like that-"

"Like what? That you're a whore? Only sex, no-strings-attached?" Wooyoung teased with a smirk, earning a punch to his arm.

That wasn't a punch of correction or discipline, it was a punch of denial because as much as Seonghwa didn't want to agree, there honestly was no better way to put it.

"Stop disturbing me and go study." He scolded but Wooyoung made no effort to move. The black-haired male swung his legs on the desk back and forth, staring at Seonghwa with a calculating gaze, as if wondering what he could say that would get the older to agree to go with him.

"There's gonna be a ton of hot guys." Wooyoung tried.

"Isn't your boyfriend there as well?" Seonghwa asked.

"Boyfriends." He corrected with a mischievous grin.

Ah, Seonghwa thought. Tonight was Wooyoung's favourite day of the week, Saturday, since Saturday's meant clubbing day to Wooyoung.

But the main reason the younger loved going to the club on Saturdays was because it was an excuse for Wooyoung to see his - and Seonghwa's quotes - "incredibly sexy hot boyfriends", Choi San and Kang Yeosang. The two males attended another university in the city but they both worked as bartenders at the nightclub Wooyoung always went to.

One thing led to another and Wooyoung fell head over heels for the two guys and they began dating each other. Seonghwa was happy for his roommate but then obviously there were the negatives to Wooyoung having two boyfriends.

One of them was the fact that Wooyoung would never shut up about them.

Seonghwa didn't know much about Choi San, other than how good he was in bed because that was all Wooyoung would ever talk about. Seonghwa had never really spoken to the male and even if he were going to, he would have no idea what to say. San would probably say something like "Hey, I'm San, I've heard a lot about you!" to which Seonghwa would reply "Hi, I've heard a lot about you too! Apparently, you have a humongous dick and like being called 'Sir' in bed!"

He could already see that ending very badly.

Kang Yeosang was a completely different story, in fact, Seonghwa had worked with Yeosang a few years back in high school before the younger went travelling for a year. From what he had heard Wooyoung say, Yeosang had completely jacked up, always hitting the gym and yet he was still an absolute sweetheart. Seonghwa had no qualms about meeting his former co-worker because while they worked there, they did have a good friendship but never ended up keeping in contact.

Although he would have to refrain from having Wooyoung around when that happened because of a prior conversation that they had had.

"Have you seen Yeosangie's arms?" Wooyoung had asked one day as he shoved his phone in Seonghwa's face, to which the older realised it was a photo of the said male. "He's very handsome, Youngie." Seonghwa had replied honestly and, might he add, like any other normal person would have answered but then Wooyoung's reply had been "God, I love it when he 's rough and chokes me."

Yeah, Seonghwa wasn't sure how he was going to face the blonde-haired male without the thought of someone being choked going through his mind. So he avoided going with Wooyoung to the club at all costs, not ready to end up in an awkward situation with his best friend's lovers.

Another huge reason Seonghwa didn't go looking for partners in that club was because of the fact that it had way too many connections to their university. Having a one-night stand with someone who might end up sitting next to him in class the next morning is another extremely awkward problem he wanted to avoid.

"How about you come with me tonight, and if you don't find anyone then I won't bother you again," Wooyoung said and Seonghwa raised an eyebrow.

Now, the older knew there was no point in giving in to such promises because he was certain Wooyoung would forever bother him until he was on his deathbed. But it was either the boredom that came from studying the same defamation case over and over or the fact that he really needed some sort of sexual relief that he found himself agreeing to the ridiculous offer.

"Fine, but only tonight." Seonghwa sighed and Wooyoung immediately cheered, jumping on the male and hugging him tightly. "FINALLY!" He yelled and Seonghwa scowled and pushed at his arms, trying to get his clingy roommate off of him.

"Don't get too excited, I really doubt I'm gonna find anyone." Seonghwa huffed and Wooyoung snorted at him.

"You wanna bet?" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow. Seonghwa frowned, not liking the direction this was going because he knew it meant trouble.

"What's the deal?" He asked slowly.

"Well, I bet $500 that you'll end up liking someone enough that you end up going on a date with them." Wooyoung smiled mischievously and Seonghwa stared at him blankly for a second before he burst out laughing.

There were so many things in that statement that was hilarious to Seonghwa. First of all, he had never, and I repeat, never lost a single bet to Wooyoung. Whether it was a bet of who got a higher grade or who could finish three bowls of ramen first, Seonghwa had always emerged the victor. Second, liking someone? That had never happened before in Seonghwa's life so there was literally no chance of it happening now. And third, a date? This was Seonghwa we were talking about and Wooyoung must've been high or on drugs to have made such a ridiculous bet which he clearly wouldn't win.

But Seonghwa being the stubborn person he was, decided to indulge Wooyoung for a bit even though he knew it was a losing game for the younger.

"As if that'll ever happen." He scoffed, pushing the younger's chest lightly. Maybe he could give Wooyoung a chance to escape this stupid bet because he wasn't sure where Wooyoung's unemployed self would get $500 from.

But the younger was adamant, sweeping his black hair back with his hand and staring down at Seonghwa with his playful eyes. There was something in them, something that made Seonghwa wonder if Wooyoung knew something he didn't.

"So, do we have a bet?" That was all Wooyoung said as he stretched out a hand to the older.

Whatever, Seonghwa thought and he smirked. Wooyoung was setting himself up for failure, but Seonghwa wasn't about to tell him that. Not when he could get $500 and not have Wooyoung nag at him to go clubbing ever again. He reached out his hand and enclasped it tightly around Wooyoung's with a cocky smirk on his lips, knowing that he had nothing to lose.

"You're on."

"Maybe I should go home." Seonghwa nervously stood at the entrance, with Wooyoung clinging onto his arm tightly.

"Hyung, we just got here." Wooyoung huffed.

The two males stood outside the front entrance as Seonghwa kept eyeing all the people entering the nightclub. He was sure his knees were shaking at this point and his mind was whirring in nervousness.

How long had it been since he went to a club? Seonghwa wasn't sure how long it had been, especially with exams constantly coming up. Work was extremely demanding so he hadn't had any time to loosen up and hang out or even have fun with anyone other than Wooyoung.

"Even more reason to leave." Seonghwa began to turn around, but Wooyoung grabbed him and pulled him back to his side, throwing an arm over his shoulder.

"We came here to relax and have fun, and you will not leave until you are completely wasted or have a man by your side," Wooyoung said in a serious tone as if he was scolding a child for doing something wrong.

They walked past the security, the guard double glancing at Wooyoung who had a hard glare on his face in case he was asked to show his ID. Seonghwa found it hilarious really but he kept his mouth shut so he wouldn't have to hear any rant from Wooyoung about the mistreatment of short people.

They entered the nightclub, both of their eyes roaming the club with different goals in mind. Wooyoung was adamant about introducing Seonghwa to his boyfriends, so he kept searching for the two males while Seonghwa had an eye out looking for a potential one-night stand. The music was loud and it drummed against Seonghwa's eardrums as he and Wooyoung made their way through the crowd, looking for a seat.

"Youngie, maybe I should have a few drinks first." Seonghwa whisper-shouted over the loud music and Wooyoung's shrieking laugh was heard over the sound.

"How about you ask San and Sangie to make you drinks?" The black-haired male winked and Seonghwa resisted the urge to roll his eyes. He was still very irked about meeting Wooyoung's lovers as he kept mentally preparing himself to filter out any conversation that included information about Wooyoung's sex life.

Wooyoung pulled his along with a hand on Seonghwa's wrist and the older male could feel his interest dissipating as he found no one inherently eye-catching as they walked through the crowds. Since it was a celebration night for their university, there were mostly people from campus and some older people that seemed to be here only to drink and gamble.

While Seonghwa was open to what type of partner he would have, he had a very strict limitation on age gap - he wouldn't sleep with anyone more than a year younger and anyone more than 5 years older.

It was preferred if they were older though because they seemed to know what they were doing rather than Seonghwa having to lead. But alas, here he found himself with no one catching his interest and he wanted nothing more than to go home and cry while rereading the celebrity defamation case assigned to him.

He turned to Wooyoung and noticed the younger narrowing his eyes as he looked all over the club, standing on his tiptoes to search for his boyfriends. Seonghwa pat his shoulder gently and Wooyoung hummed in acknowledgement, not bothering to turn to Seonghwa.

"So when can I lea-"

"SANNIE!" Wooyoung suddenly squealed as he flew away from Seonghwa's side to run over and embrace a tall male standing near the side of the bar. Seonghwa watched how the other male's eyes lit up as he gave Wooyoung a large happy smile and pressed a kiss on Wooyoung's lips lovingly.

But the very first thing Seonghwa noticed about this man was that he was, in fact, very muscular.

He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt and tight black leather pants that matched very well with his mullet. Seonghwa was somewhat happy that Wooyoung was able to find someone this good-looking because all his previous exes had been quite ugly - both inside and out.

He inhaled deeply before he walked toward them, clearing his mind of all nervous thoughts and feelings. Just don't think about anything Wooyoung's told you. Seonghwa reminded himself mentally, making sure that he didn't accidentally start talking about the couple's kinks.

He stood a few feet away from them, giving them space to embrace each other and greet each other after not seeing one another for quite a while. Wooyoung had been extremely busy as well with final exams approaching so he had skipped heading to the club the week before. He was surprised someone as horny and affectionate as Wooyoung was able to stay away from his boyfriend for more than two weeks, but seeing the way he would not let go of his boyfriend now really showed how much he missed him.

After a few more kisses to his face, Wooyoung finally seemed to notice Seonghwa standing to the side idly. He pulled out of his lover's embrace and grabbed onto his wrist as he pulled the black-haired male by the arm towards his roommate.

"Hyung, meet San. Sannie, meet Seonghwa hyung." Wooyoung introduced the two with a wide smile on his lips. Seonghwa looked at San with a polite smile while San had a bright dimpled grin on his lips as he stretched a hand out which Seonghwa took.

"Nice to meet you, Seonghwa-ssi," San spoke politely and Seonghwa found himself momentarily surprised at the other's firm grip and deep voice as he spoke.

"Likewise, and 'hyung' is just fine," Seonghwa said, already taking a liking to San. He knew San was the same age as Wooyoung so it only made sense that he was their hyung. San seemed genuinely happy to be around Wooyoung and Seonghwa had a very strong feeling that San was a good person.

"Okay, hyung." San grinned and his eyes smiled with him, earning a chuckle from Seonghwa.

"Okay, okay, enough of the formalities, I wanna get drunk! Is Yeosangie here?" Wooyoung abruptly asked as he turned to his boyfriend again.

"He's serving drinks tonight." San pointed towards the bar. Seonghwa turned as his eyes searched for the familiar male and he finally noticed a short blonde-haired male smiling brightly while passing on drinks to customers.

Before he could say anything, Wooyoung had jumped up high, his eyes practically shining with stars. Seonghwa didn't have enough time to prepare himself from the younger's volume as he shouted.

"YEOSANGIE!" Wooyoung screeched excitedly as he dashed away from San and Seonghwa to sit on one of the barstools in front of Yeosang. The other two customers the blonde male was serving before had moved away and Wooyoung didn't waste a second before he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss against Yeosang's lips, making Seonghwa look away at the affectionate action.

San also came up next to the younger and kissed Yeosang, the three of them smiling at each other so happily. It was a lovely sight, extremely wholesome and heartwarming but once again, Seonghwa felt extremely out of place.

He shuffled in his spot awkwardly, trying to ignore the stares from some of the guys in his class sitting in the booth near where he was standing. Wooyoung turned around as if he had lost his child again and when he found Seonghwa, he beckoned the older male over.

"Meet Seonghwa hyungie." Seonghwa heard Wooyoung explain to Yeosang as he went and sat down on one of the bar stools. He smiled warmly at Yeosang's somewhat awestruck expression.

"It's been a while, hyung." Yeosang said with an embarrassed blush on his face and Seonghwa just laughed while Wooyoung stared at them in confusion.

He glanced between Seonghwa and Yeosang, then at San who shrugged before he turned to his roommate and boyfriend with an accusing glance.

"Wait- you two know each other?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Why didn't either of you say anything!" He whined.

Yeosang chuckled, momentarily shocking Seonghwa as he now realised how deep the younger male's voice had gotten. Long gone was the shaky and self-conscious teen, replaced by a confident and very matured Yeosang. Seonghwa could still hear the little lisp in the younger's voice, which he still found absolutely adorable, however, his eyes trailed down to Yeosang's arms and he almost choked.

Wooyoung wasn't lying when he said Yeosang had become completely jacked. Seonghwa was sure it definitely helped in building the younger's self-esteem but damn, he looked good. He really had grown up over the years and Seonghwa was glad that Wooyoung had ended up with someone as caring and selfless as Yeosang.

"Well, if I told you I knew Mars, then you wouldn't have let me live in peace." Yeosang teased and a dark blush of embarrassment immediately took over Seonghwa's features.

Wooyoung snapped his head up at the name, tilting his head to the side slightly as he raised an eyebrow. "Mars?" He asked as he turned to Seonghwa, but the older refused to spare him a glance.

"Yeah, we all got to choose our names while we worked and Seonghwa hyung chose Mars." Yeosang continued and Seonghwa flushed even more as San stared at him in amusement.

"Oh god-"

"YOUR NICKNAME WAS MARS?!" Wooyoung shouted in disbelief and Seonghwa wanted nothing more than to disappear.

It was a stupid idea really, to allow teenagers to choose the name they wanted to work with. One of Seonghwa's coworkers had begged the owner to allow them to have 'Deez' as their name and it had been the funniest thing to them. He didn't think his was even that bad because 'Mars' had meaning to it. Besides, Yeosang had gone with the name 'Hehetmon', so the younger couldn't speak.

"It was a work nick-name." Seonghwa reasoned but Wooyoung held a hand up and brought his phone out. "I'm changing your contact to 'Mars'." The black-haired male announced. A groan left Seonghwa's lips as he whacked Wooyoung's arm, but it did nothing to wipe the haughty smirk off of the younger's lips.

The silver-haired male turned to Yeosang accusingly who shrugged, and then he turned to San with pleading eyes, asking the male to take Wooyoung away. San seemed to get the message as he sent Seonghwa an amused yet reassuring smile.

"How about we go dance!" San suggested, taking Wooyoung's hand in his own and the younger smiled happily as he got up to his feet. He stopped abruptly, turning to his blonde boyfriend with a narrowed gaze as if he was warning the older.

"You better join us as soon as your shift is over." Wooyoung sternly told Yeosang who just chuckled and leaned forward to peck San's cheek lovingly. Seonghwa once again averted his eyes from the action, awkwardly sitting by himself on the barstool. He really needed to get used to seeing these random displays of affection, especially since he was sure San and Yeosang would be visiting the dorms more often now that Wooyoung had introduced them.

"Seonghwa will keep you company till then," Wooyoung smirked, pulling Seonghwa out of his thoughts as he rolled his eyes and waved the younger away. Before he left, Wooyoung leaned in to whisper something to Yeosang which made them both turn to Seonghwa with a mischievous look in their eyes and Seonghwa knew these two demons were planning something.

"Have fun, hyung!" Wooyoung blew a kiss to Seonghwa who scrunched his face up in distaste, earning a cackle from the black-haired male.

"What drink would you like, hyung?" Yeosang asked a soft smile on his lips, gesturing towards the wide assertion of liquor along the wall.

Seonghwa pondered for a moment, wondering whether he wanted to get shit-faced drunk or settle for a more classy drink tonight. He knew he was going to have to hire a cab for both him and Wooyoung since there was no chance the younger would be sober by the end of the night.

However, Seonghwa didn't want to get too drunk that he'd end up messing around with someone from campus. Waking up next to a person who he'd have a class with was the last thing he wanted. He was happy that he had quite a strong tolerance but he decided to let loose tonight. He was here to relax anyways, so he decided to reward himself.

"I'm fine with anything." Seonghwa smiled politely.

"Yeah, Wooyoung always tells us very excitedly. 'My hyung has a really high tolerance!' He keeps saying it as if he's bragging about himself." Yeosang said, making Seonghwa laugh at the thought of his roommate boasting about his ability to stay sober even after two whole bottles of alcohol.

"I guess I just have a thing for hard liquor," Seonghwa smirked.

"I'll make you something a bit more classy then. How's a Negroni sound?" Yeosang asked.

"That sounds great." Seonghwa smiled.

"One Negroni coming up." Yeosang winked as he went ahead and began mixing the drink. Seonghwa watched and laughed when the younger almost dropped it before he turned back to see Wooyoung swaying with San on the dancefloor.

He felt a content smile appear on his lips at how happy the short black-haired boy looked, but that smile was immediately wiped off of his lips when he made eye contact with Wooyoung and the younger eyed him with a warning gaze that said 'if you don't find someone by the end of the night, I will sell your entire lego collection.'

Seonghwa was snapped out of his through when Yeosang handed the drink to him. "Here you go, hyung~" He giggled and Seonghwa happily accepted the drink, sipping on it and enjoying the bitter taste followed by the satisfying burn in his throat. Yeosang gave him one more look before he left to go serve other customers, leaving Seonghwa alone all by himself.

The silver-haired male finished his drink quite quickly as he sighed to himself as he let his eyes lazily roam over the room of half-intoxicated people. He almost grimaced when he noticed a few people making out in the middle of the dance floor but he ignored it, knowing that he honestly wouldn't be any better once he found someone to leave with.

He felt icky the more he thought about the fact that he was looking for a one-night stand as if he was a predator looking for prey but he just needed to find someone that was willing to have sex with him, and there were always people who just wanted to hook up in clubs.

He let his eyes wander across the dance floor once again, looking for anyone that he didn't recognise till he found someone. Minho (or Lee Know as he liked to be called) was dancing happily with his group of friends in the middle of the room, drinks in hand and wide smiles on their faces.

Now, Seonghwa knew Lee Know, but that wasn't a problem because Lee Know was a senior at his college, in his last year of studying for his computer science degree. Seonghwa had started university when Lee Know was in his second year and now the older was going to graduate by the end of this semester. A part of Seonghwa envied the older male for only having to study for three years while he was stuck in college for another 4 because of his law degree.

But ignoring those thoughts, a smile arose on Seonghwa's lips when he made eye contact with the handsome senior. Lee Know was extremely attractive, Seonghwa knew this much. He also knew that Lee Know was also one for flings only, never really being interested in dating and romance.

It was perfect.

Lee Know raised an eyebrow at Seonghwa playfully to which the silver-haired male smiled even wider and he got up from his seat when the senior beckoned him over. He placed his glass down on the counter and looked at the older again, making sure he was signalling him over and he when he got a confirming nod, he began to walk to where Lee Know was. But he was suddenly shoved from the side, causing him to stumble back into the counter as he lost his footing.

He let out a loud hiss as his hip slammed against the side of the barstool, surely creating a dark bruise against his skin. Seonghwa snapped his head up, his eyes murderous because not only was he injured but he could feel the fickle drip of liquid soaking through the front of his shirt. The drink felt cold against his skin and under the club lights, he could see that it was a dark red liquid.

"For fucks sakes." The person muttered and Seonghwa frowned at the arrogance in the stranger's tone. He had been the one who had the drink spilled over him, yet the other person seemed to be more upset than he was.

"Shit, I'm really sorry about that-" The person spoke as they raised their head and Seonghwa was ready to fight whoever had knocked into him, but when he looked ahead all he saw was a wad of bright blue hair, directly in his line of sight.

He slightly craned his neck down and his eyes met those of the blue-haired individual in front of him. All feelings of anger and annoyance immediately left Seonghwa's body as his face melted into a confused expression.

What was a kid doing in a nightclub? This kid was definitely the same height as Wooyoung, probably even shorter and his bright blue hair screamed 'horny-adolescent teenager' but the moment the stranger raised his head up, Seonghwa froze again because this was no kid.

The person was extremely handsome - with a sharp jaw and sharp cheekbones, Seonghwa couldn't help but let his eyes roam the stranger's face. His eyes trailed down to the male's outfit and he realised they were wearing a low-cut v-neck paired with black pants. The male cleared his throat and Seonghwa immediately averted his eyes, feeling slightly embarrassed for staring too long.

"I'm really sorry about spilling my drink onto you, but I don't regret bumping into someone as beautiful as yourself." The male smiled, the corner of his lips turning upwards and Seonghwa felt his heart do a weird flip inside his chest.

Was this person flirting with him right now?

"I-uh- don't worry about it." He found himself saying, immediately wanting to knock himself over the head for sounding so stupid. This seemed to amuse the other as he chuckled, his eyes crinkling as he stared at Seonghwa with that stupidly attractive smirk on his face.

God, how had he become so awkward? Had it really been this long since Seonghwa had socialised with people that now he couldn't even flirt back?

"Do you want an extra change of clothes? I'm sure one of my friends brought some since he came here after a dance practice. It's the least I could do." The stranger offered and even though Seonghwa knew it would've been eerily suspicious that someone would have a spare set of clothes on them, he knew he was being overly cautious because this person didn't make him feel uncomfortable or worried at all.

"Who is this friend of yours?" Seonghwa asked the blue-haired male.

"Jeong Yunho, he's a dance major." The male tried but Seonghwa shook his head, although there was an odd feeling of familiarity with the name.

The shorter male frowned and looked around him, eyes searching the entire floor of the club till his eyes widened happily. "There, he's the one with the faded pink hair." He said to Seonghwa as he pointed out.

Realisation hit Seonghwa as he immediately recognised the male. It was the pink-haired boy that was constantly dancing in the practice room next to the file room where Seonghwa was always cooped up in.

Seonghwa had bumped into Yunho quite a lot of times, especially whenever it was midnight and they both somehow managed to sneak past dorm security. It was always strictly a polite mutual acknowledgement between the two before they were off on their separate ways. But it was someone that Seonghwa could relatively trust, so he decided to let the stranger help him. He felt like he deserved it anyway since the person owed it to him to at least get a change of clothes.

"If you're not comfortable with that, I can call you a cab if you want? Or buy you some clothes from the store a few streets away?" The blue-haired male suggested and Seonghwa had to stop himself from laughing at how concerned the male looked.

"No, it's alright. Yunho's clothes will be fine." He replied and the other let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm glad since I don't think any stores would have been open at this time." They said and Seonghwa just smiled at him.

"You can take a seat here, I'll be back in a bit." The male told him and motioned towards a barstool which Seonghwa happily went over and sat on, trying to ignore the feeling of the liquor sticking to his body.

While sitting there, all alone in a club surrounded by drunk university students, Seonghwa found himself questioning what he was doing. Because seriously, what was he doing? He had come to this club on a whim to win a bet against Wooyoung but instead of finding someone to hook up with, he was now covered in liquor with a bruise on his hip and waiting for a handsome blue-haired stranger to bring him a change of clothes.

From the corner of his eyes, Seonghwa could see Wooyoung with his two boyfriends dancing together happily, laughing and swaying with each other. He couldn't help but frown a little at the fact that he felt a weird tug at his own heart at the sight.

He didn't want to acknowledge it, but seeing his friend so happy and in love made him crave that same feeling as well. All his life really, Seonghwa had grown up with the image of a joyous romance becoming the main reason for his existence, but over time that fantasy had disappeared into another wish on Seonghwa's bucket list that he had no plans on getting around to.

He wanted that romantic pull, that fiery love for another person, those sweet moments of knowing that someone was there for you- but he just never felt it with anyone.

Sex was all he ever grew to care about, the only thing that would balance his raging hormones and the amount of work he had to do for his career.

Sure he had thought about developing a relationship with some of his flings before, but that idea was soon thrown away when he realised the number of responsibilities that came along with the role of being a partner.

Whether it was fear or a lack of interest, Seonghwa didn't know but frankly, he didn't care. All he was here for was for a one-night stand, not to contemplate his life in an emotional bout of sadness on a barstool.

A sigh left his lips as he looked around and he couldn't see Yunho or the pretty stranger anymore. He was a bit worried that they wouldn't come back and he'd just have to catch the bus back all the way to the dorms. He tapped his foot against the floor impatiently and considered telling Yeosang to tell Wooyoung he was going to leave when he saw the frantically walking blue-haired male rush up to him with a bag in his hands.

"Sorry about the wait, Yunho was a bit drunk and it took a while for him to find his keys." He explained and Seonghwa smiled softly at the information, immediately being reminded of his friends.

"It's alright, I'm glad you came back." He answered, surprising himself for being so honest with this stranger. Well, he couldn't exactly call the other a stranger now.

"Should we go to the bathroom stalls?" The blue-haired male asked and Seonghwa nodded, not knowing where else he would get changed. It wasn't like he could just strip there on the spot.

"You'll have to show me where they are though." Seonghwa meekly said and the shorter male smiled and handed Seonghwa the bag.

"I'm assuming it's your first time here?" He asked but there was an underlying tease in his tone that had Seonghwa rolling his eyes.

"Just show me the way." He huffed and the blue-haired man laughed and straightened.

"Alright, follow me."

----------------------

It was silent between them, the only sound able to be heard was the rustling of Seonghwa's clothing as he carefully removed the sticky shirt away from his skin. He was glad the clothing was off of him and he felt like he could finally breathe without the alcohol on his body.

He wiped down the side of his stomach with the towel the stranger had brought, not being able to hold back a grimace as he looked at the side of his hip and noticed the slight blue hue of a bruise that had formed. Definitely not an attractive sight.

He sighed as he thought back to the blue-haired male standing outside the door. He was sure he had seen that bright blue hair sometime when he went out to the cafes on campus but he never paid enough attention to notice.

But now the shorter male had completely caught Seonghwa's attention. Long gone was the thought of Lee Know, it probably wouldn't have been a good enough match anyways, but the blue-haired male had him captivated.

He didn't know if it was the way the male acted so kindly to him and made sure to make up for his mistake, or the fact that this man was the complete opposite of Seonghwa's type that he wanted to laugh at how smitten he felt.

He may have had a thing for height, but that idea had been thrown out the window the moment he saw the blue-haired male. Seonghwa grabbed the clothes from the bag and held it up, looking at the thin white, sweater-like long-sleeve shirt that the stranger's friend had given to him - or that he had gotten from his drunk friend.

Seonghwa knew Yunho was tall, but seeing the shirt made him realise that Yunho was really tall. He held the shirt in front of his body and he frowned when he saw that it fell to around mid-thigh, practically swallowing his figure. he couldn't even see his shorts because of how long it was.

He could hear soft tapping of footsteps outside and a small smile appeared on his lips at the fact that the other was still standing outside. "Thank you for the clothes." He said and he hoped it had been loud enough for the other to hear. When he got no reply, he flushed slightly, deciding to quickly put the shirt on and get out of here.

"It's the least I could do." He heard the reply and he felt another smile tug on his lips. He felt an odd feeling of happiness in his chest as how genuinely aggrieved the other seemed at the fact that he had spilled his drink on Seonghwa.

"I'm Hongjoong, by the way, I major in medical science." The other male suddenly said and Seonghwa stopped putting his shirt on to process what the other had just said.

Hongjoong. The name suited the blue-haired male for some reason and Seonghwa found himself astounded by the fact that the older was doing a bachelor of medical science.

"Medical science? How far are you in your honours?" Seonghwa found himself asking curiously and he could hear the older chuckle at him from the other side.

"I'm in my second year," Hongjoong replied. "How about you, 'pretty stranger I spilled my drink on'?" Seonghwa felt his face heat up and he was thankful Hongjoong wasn't able to see his face because of the closed door that separated them.

"I'm Seonghwa, and I'm in my second year of studying for a bachelor in law," Seonghwa said cheerfully at first but then his tone turned sour at the reminder that he still had a long way to go with his studies.

"Damn, law?" Hongjoong said in an incredulous voice and Seonghwa groaned in agreement. "I know. 4 more years of torture to go." He replied as finally got the shirt on, frowning when he realised how big it was on him.

"You must be a masochist if you'd willingly put yourself through that." Hongjoong teased and Seonghwa opened the door to see the older leaning against the counter with his arms crossed over his chest. Seonghwa smirked as he mirrored Hongjoong's actions, leaning against the doorframe of the stall.

"Who said I wasn't?" He replied flirtily and Hongjoong barked a laugh, shaking his head softly as Seonghwa tilted his head to the side.

"I'm sorry, but you look way too cute in that shirt," Hongjoong explained as he gestured towards the shirt that was hanging down to the middle of Seonghwa's thighs. Seonghwa immediately blushed at the comment, his face flushing a dark red as he glanced at himself in the mirror and groaned because he did in fact look cute rather than sexy.

He decided to tuck in the front and let the sides of the shirt hang loosely at his lips. At least now his shorts were visible and it didn't look like he wasn't wearing any pants. He could feel Hongjoong's gaze on him so he turned and stared at the blue-haired male who met his eyes, his lips turning upwards as there was a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"What is it?" Seonghwa asked trying to control the knowing smile that was appearing on his lips because he knew Hongjoong was staring at him and he knew Hongjoong was liking what he saw. The blue-haired male ran his tongue over his lips as he pushed himself off of the counter. He walked towards Seonghwa, painstakingly slow and it made the silver-haired male's stomach flip in excitement.

Hongjoong stopped right in front of Seonghwa before he looked the older up and down, making the tips of Seonghwa's ears turn red in slight embarrassment. Hongjoong was blatantly checking Seonghwa out and it took everything within the younger to not jump the handsome male.

The blue-haired male quirked up one of his eyebrows as that carefree expression appeared on his face again, although there was something different, a hidden desire that Seonghwa swore he could see.

"Since my drink was all over you, would you like me to get you another one? This ones gonna be on me." Hongjoong asked as he moved impossibly closer to Seonghwa, staring intensely at the taller who couldn't help the blush that appeared on his face.

"That was terrible." Seonghwa commented playfully at Hongjoong's joke, but the blue-haired male didn't seem fazed in the slightest, instead laughing as he held out a hand for Seonghwa to take.

"Shall I take that as a yes?" He raised an eyebrow. Seonghwa smiled gleefully, his heart jumping in his chest. Seonghwa's eyes lingered on Hongjoong's hand for a few seconds before a mischievous smile appeared on his lips and he reached out to enclasp the blue-haired male's hand with his own.

"Lead the way."
