Summary
Elias’ god was a jealous god.
Not jealous in the way the old testament of the bible spoke off. Elias’ god didn’t need to worry about Elias praying to other entities for Elias had no interest in them. Elias’ god was jealous of all he claimed for himself and unfortunately Elias had been careless with one of his disciples.

“Yes Magnus?” Alien eyes watched him out of Jon’s dispassionate face. When Elias looked at him just right he saw hundred’s more peek through his skin. Watching him. Devouring his every miniscule reaction.
The fucking machine Jon had gotten god’s knows where continued its merciless exploration in driving Elias’ insane by JUST missing the point in his cunt that would make his world light up. Intentionally no doubt - Jon didn’t make such mistakes. Not anymore. If what was watching him could even be called Jon Sims anymore.
