Third Person Point of View
All the rangers were training outside today because Ms. Morgan had a new Dino charger to test. The Dino charger can apparently drill through concrete, which is pretty cool.
“Wait, so you want me to drill through that concrete wall!?” Chase said skeptical.
”Yep, the Dino charger only works for you , since I paired it with your energem.” Ms. Morgan said.
All the rangers, minus Shelby, stood around and watched as Chase activated the Dino charger. Within seconds he’d drilled through the wall, and even one of Shelby’s punching bags, and stoped in front of the hole he drill.
“Woah!” Chase said as he demorphed.
“Seriously Chase!” Shelby said angrily.
“Woah, sorry didn’t realize that I drilled through your punching bag.” He said as he walked over.
“Well you owe me a new punching bag.” Shelby said.
But that’s not what caught Chases attention. The speaker behind him did.
”And that’s the N-Zed boys don’t forget that tickets for their concert sell today!”
”Hold on, you’re a N-Zed fan!?” Chase asked shocked and offensive.
”Yeah.” Shelby said shyly.
”Oh please don’t tell me you’re planning on getting tickets for their concert.” Chase said mockingly.
“It’s the first time ever playing out of New Zealand.” Shelby said excitedly.
“Oh please they aren’t even that good. They’re just this boy band that somehow got popular and make bad music.” Chase said confidently.
” I get it you don’t like them, I got the memo the first time.” Shelby said sadly as she walked away.
”Sir Chase that wasn’t very kind of you.” Ivan said
“Yeah, dude I get you don’t like them, but that doesn’t mean you have to hurt Shelby’s feelings.” Tyler said.

It was about three hours after the whole N-Zed boys incident happened. Shelby was getting pretty mad because Chase was an hour late to work.
”UH! Where is Chase he’s an hour late! I have to get tickets for the concert before they sell out!” Shelby says angrily.
”Chill out mate, they aren’t even that popular I’m sure they’ll be plenty of tickets left.” Chase said from the kitchen door.
Shelby didn't even look at him, she hung up her apron and hat when she heard the radio.
”If you were planning on seeing the N-Zed boys today in concert and you are officially out of luck they’re completely sold out!”
”No, No!” Shelby said upset.
“Hey, Shelby.” Riley said. Shelby looked at him, on the verge of tears.
”I figured that Chase would have showed up late, so I got you these.” Riley said as he pulled out two N-Zed concert tickets from his pocket.
“Oh my gosh Riley! You’re the best!” Shelby said as she hugged him tightly.

It was 2 hours after Riley had gave Shelby the tickets and he’d just finished his shift. Riley had decided to practice on the tennis ball machine to get away from his emotions. He kept missing the balls and was getting frustrated.
“Your emotions dull your skill Riley, what’s wrong.” Keeper said in a calm voice.
“Just having a bad day.” Riley said annoyed.
“Really bad for you to hide your real thoughts from me? Keeper asked.
“It’s just. I had planned on taking Chase to the N-Zed concert, but after hearing how much he hated them, I ended up giving my tickets to Shelby. It’s not that I’m mad about giving up my tickets, I just was ready to finally have courage to ask him out. I just feel like everything goes wrong.”
“Riley, not everything has to go the way you plan. Taking him to the concert was a pretty big idea. How about you start with something small, like go out and watch a movie together or get lunch?” Keeper said.
”I guess you are right Keeper, I had this huge idea that everything would have gone perfect if we went to the concert together. I guess I could just ask him to have lunch.” Riley said with hope.
”Chase’s favorite place is Cane’s.” Ms. Morgan said.
Riley looked at her confused.
”I was here the whole time. You just didn’t notice. Keeper is right Riley, you have to start small with Chase. Take him to Cane’s, that’s his favorite fast food place. You don’t have to say it’s a date, but you do have the courage to ask him.” Kendall said hopeful.
Riley was about to say something, but the alarm went off. Ms. Morgan went to the desk immediately.
“Alien bio signs in the forest. I’ll alert the others.” She said looking at Riley.

Riley was the first to arrive at the forest. He got to the location and saw what to look like Spellbinder.
“Oh look what we found! Where’s the others?” supposably, Spellbinder said.
”That’s not important.” Riley said.
”Dino Charger. Ready, Energize, Unleash the power!”
Riley and supposedly Spellbinder fight. The fight was intense. At some point Riley had gotten hurt really bad and that’s when,supposably, Spellbinder hit him with a beam.
Unlike the last time, Riley wasn’t hypnotized, in fact he didn’t feel different. He hadn’t noticed the others saw what happened.
”Riley! What did you do to him?” Tyler said angrily.
“Oh nothing rangers, just your friend has been lying to you.” Spellbinder said.
“What!?” everyone said confused.
”You see your friend here, he never actually got the tickets for the girl. He got them for him and someone else. He was gonna ask one of you guys to go to the concert with him, but supposably, that person hates N-Zed. Oh would you look at that his name’s Chase.” Spellbinder said.
After that was said Riley’s face was pale white, and eyes wide. Everyone was staring at him, including Chase. Riley didn’t know what else to do, so he ran.
”We gotta take care of this monster before we go after Riley.” Tyler said.
“We defeat monster, then help Riley.”

“Riley! What are you doing here!? There’s still alien bio signs in the forest.” Ms. Morgan asked.
“He found out. He found out from the stupid monster and not me.” Riley said in a whisper.
“What?” Ms. Morgan asked.
”He found out I like him! Riley yelled.
“Keeper I need you to unbond me from the energem. I can’t do this.” Riley said.
”Riley, are you insane!?”
“No, I just can’t ruin the team dynamic. The best way would be for me to go home and forget that all this happened, you guys will find another to bond with the energem.” Riley said.
“Riley, if this is what you really want and think this is the best thing then I will do it, but thinking about it a little more. The energem wouldn’t have bonded to you if it didn’t think you could handle this situation.” Keeper said wisely.
While Keeper was talking to Riley, Ms. Morgan was contacting the rest of the rangers.
”Guys you gotta get to the base now, Riley’s thinking about quitting!” Kendall said.
After a few minutes the rest of the rangers came running in all saying, “Riley you better not do it!”
“Riley I know what happened back there sucked, but it’s fine. We all love you the same, right Chase.”
“Huh, yeah.” Chase said awkwardly.
”Yeah, because I’m just going to buy that. Chase is so uncomfortable look at him! He can’t even look at me! I’ve had time to think, I don’t think I’m going to quite, but I am going to be keeping my distance for a little.” Riley said.
“Oh come on Chase, talk to him!” Shelby shouted.
“Fine, but can you leave us alone for a little?” Chase said
As soon as he said that everyone left, out of the base, and it was just Chase and Riley staring at each other.
”You know you don’t have to like pretend that you’re okay with me. In fact we can pretend this never happened.” Riley said.
”I don’t want to forget about this because of what that monster said is true then I’d be darned. Riley, I really do like, in more of a friend way. I was just scared that what the monster said isn’t true.” Chase said shyly.
”Wait, so you like me?” Riley said confused.
“Yeah, I thought I made it obvious, but I guess not.” Chase said smiling.
Before Riley could even say another word he felt soft lips on his. He instantly kisses back. After a couple of second they pulled back and looked at each other.
“Do you want to go out for lunch with me tomorrow, at Cane’s?” Riley asked.
”It’s a date!” Chase said happily.
