Imagination is a powerful thing, especially in the hands of a child. In the hands of a child, imagination can transform sandlots into bottomless cliffs, puddles into vast oceans, and toy boats into grand pirate ships. And yet, the light of imagination has a darkness to serve as its counterpart. A darkness that would see all imagination snuffed out, leaving the world free for its own consumption. Only five individuals, possessing wondrous imagination and the power to use it in battle, would be able to vanquish the darkness and bring light to the world.
Or, TL;DR, five nine-year-old siblings living in Mariner Bay become the newest team of Power Rangers, and have to use the power of trains and imagination to protect the world from living shadows.
