Summary
Loki's injuries from Thanos were severe. The younger prince was left blind and experienced a serious brain injury which had lasting effects.
It has been over a year since the attack. Loki has been in and out of the hospital for most of that time. Thor is growing tired and restless, he's heard all of the explanations, (or lack there of). There is no fix for his brother's condition, nothing to ease his pain, or symptoms. So, this is their life now. Loki mostly held up in his room for most of the day, Thor trying to build a new nation, and take care of his brother all while trying to keep his sanity.
