Chapter Text
Walking home from school was a simple and familiar routine at this point. After walking with his friends, and avoiding Nendou’s plans to go get ramen yet again, then departing with them and going their separate paths, Shun Kaidou simply plugged in some earbuds and listened to whatever his playlist wanted to play. It was a gamble for what was going to play, the usual playlist was all over the place, with some songs Kaidou doesn’t even remember adding.
After a successful day of stopping an ambush from Dark Reunion (he didn’t fail a test despite forgetting about it entirely), the Jet Black Wings™ needed some cool music to match the victory. So hitting shuffle and praying that something cool would show up.
Today’s pick from the playlist falls in that one bit of being added with no memory of it being there. At least Kaidou has no memory of adding it. The song title was “untitled” and it had no album cover. Strange but maybe it could be an artistic decision. However when the song started, it was upbeat and happy, Kaidou realized it wasn’t fitting his current mood of his hero complex and went to skip it. That just gave him an error message.
“What the heck?” Kaidou muttered as he tried to skip again. This time something new happened, his screen started glowing, way too bright for what his phone should be able to, and next thing he knows he has blacked out. Must be the work of Dark Reunion. Fuckers won’t let him have any nice things.

Kusanagi Nene has seen a lot of weird shit. It’s only natural when your troupe is a bunch of clowns who have no limits for what is possible. Whether that be flinging someone 10 feet in the air in the name of a stunt or Emu still having energy at 4 in the morning.
When everyone is gay and mentally ill there really is no limits huh. This time was odd though. A boy, looking to be around her age, fell from the sky. He came out of thin air basically and is now laying flat on the ground. She has no idea how or why this happened but needless to say she was confused.
The boy from the sky did have a weird appearance though (not that Nene is one to judge considering almost everyone around her looks just as weird). The boy had blue spiky hair and bright red bandages tied around his arms. His outfit was ripped and torn at the ends (though it kinda looked intentional). He had passed out from the fall, though somehow he looked generally unharmed???
Nene stopped studying the anomaly in front of her and did the only reasonable thing one can do in this situation. Leave before anything else happens. She decided the best course of action would be to hide in the sekai. Miku might know something about random people who can appear out of thin air.
She opened her phone and started searching for the song to get over there. At the same time, Kaidou was waking up in a slow daze.
“Where-” Kaidou stopped when everything started going white yet again. Nene forgot that he teleports with her. Fuck.
----------
When Kaidou awoke he knew something was off. There was a sound of circus-like music playing faintly off in the distance, everything looked bright and colorful, but most importantly, there was a random blonde girl staring at him. When everything finally registered Kaidou screamed. Voice cracks included.
“Miku, are you ok? What’s up with the style change? When did you cut your hair? Is this for a show?” The blonde asked, with one question coming right after the other.
Kaidou looked up at her like she was insane, he had no idea what the fuck was being said. The blonde was none other than Kagamine Rin. She wanted to know where Miku was and when she saw blue hair she instantly thought it was Miku with a haircut, instead of using common sense and realizing this is a very different person.
Rin grabbed Kaidou by arm and dragged him as he tried to get her to stop (very pathetically, he cannot fight for shit). In this struggle of getting dragged, he gets a quick preview of where he is. It looks like an amusement park on crack. Lots and lots of crack. She was dragging him to a dark building. Yep, this is the end. He dies to a random blonde girl who definitely was out to get him. Not to be repetitive but he was also going to blame this on the dark reunion.
“Guyssss I found Miku” Rin sang out to get the attention of the others there.
“I’m not Miku!!!” Kaidou whisper-yelled.
The group looked over in their direction including Miku, with all them being confused about Kaidou being there. That was definitely not Miku. Unless if Miku decided to become a fucking emo (cough cough nightcord cough cough). Miku would never smh smh, besides Miku was right with them.
Rin froze as she realized that the actual Miku was standing with the group. Embarrassed, she dropped Kaidou and booked it, leaving Kaidou to die with the lgbtq community.
Everyone stayed frozen. Nene whispered something to the rest of the group and they all started whispering, looking back at Kaidou now and then. Kaidou took this time to analyze the group. First there was the green-haired one with the butterfly headband who started the whispering. Next there was the pink one, who seemed very energetic and at one point said something about “wonderhoy”? Then there was the purple one, who looked like he was insane tbh. Finally there was the girl with teal-hair and seemed to be part cat. And great they’re now staring at him. And now they’re knocking him out. Who would’ve thought the Jet Black Wings would be taken down by Hatsune Miku and friends?
----------
Nene sighed, realizing the boy did accidentally end up in the sekai. She tried explaining it to the group, however Emu decided that they should ask him to join them and Rui wanted to study him. This is the type of stuff that happens when Tsukasa decides to be missing. Miku tried to, y’know, come up with something that wasn’t one of those two but failed to convince the two.
Soon after realizing that the boy was staring at them and looking like he was having an internal panic (it was becoming more and more of an external panic). Rui had the brilliant idea… of knocking him out. So they did just that.
“Guys I’m not sure how much knocking somebody out will help-” Miku tried to interject as they tied the boy up to Nenerobo. Rui said that it will make sure he doesn’t escape and wreak havoc.
“Don’t worry, this plan is foolproof. We just interview him, figure out where he came from, and return him.” Rui explained calmly.
“Yeah! We got this!” Emu exclaimed.
“This feels illegal.” Nene stated with an unamused look on her face.
“It’s for the bit, don’t worry about it,” Rui waved her off.
“The bit feels illegal.” Nene responded.
“Isn’t the saying ‘be gay do crime’? That’s what we’re doing.” Rui laughed.
“Whatever, I’m gonna stay with our new friend here,” Miku smiled awkwardly, “You guys continue with your new song!”
Nene sighed and went back to preparing for their next show, trying to forget that she accidently kidnapped a boy, and now the troupe tied him to a giant robot that looks like her. Hopefully he will understand. Or maybe he won’t, but that’s fair too. Maybe if Tsukasa wasn’t absent this wouldn’t have happened. Yeah, let’s just blame Tsukasa for now.
