Miami, FL - 1989
Eddie Munson has been trapped inside his own head, traversing the fog of his consciousness and with every passing day losing things that had been vital to him as a person, things that made Eddie... Eddie. He begins to receive multiple cryptic voicemails on his shitty answering machine almost on the daily. It's always the same formula: A name, a business or organization, their reason for calling, an address, and a reminder of a dress code. The way they lay out the information makes his brain feel like static, like it's familiar. It reminds him of something but his thoughts are as cloudy as the day he arrived in Miami. Sometimes he thinks about going to the location these messages leave him.
On April 3rd, 1989 he does just that.
