Third Person Point Of View
”So this is how the legendary power ranger team really is?” Lord Arconon said while the rangers were on the ground.
”Let’s see, oh, how about I get rid of you first, black ranger!”
After Riley heard those words, he grabbed his sword and ran up to Arconon.
”Green saber slash!” Riley said as he slash Arconon.
Riley looked up and saw that he didn’t even make a scratch.
“That was cute, but I’ll show you really power.”
Arconon took his hand and slashed Riley in the stomach 5 times, on the 6th one, Riley fell and demorphed.
“RILEY!!” Everyone screamed out.
”One pest down, 9 to go.”
“I don’t think so.” Keeper said as he appeared.
Keeper took his staff and hovered it over the ground. The next thing Arconon saw were sparks and a cloud of red. The rangers disappeared.

Once everyone got into the base, Ms. Morgan started to heal Riley. She put him on a hospital cart and had machines monitoring him. Everyone huddled around him. He had a massive scar across his body.
“Guys, his energem, it’s darker.” Shelby said.
Everyone turned and looked at Riley’s energem. It was still mostly green, but a little bit on the corner was darker.
“Keeper, what does this mean?” Tyler asked panicked.
“It means that Riley is losing power. Once his energem turns fully dark, he will ceased to be a ranger.” Keeper said.
“So what does that mean?” Chase asked.
“It means, Riley, will no longer be a ranger and will have no memory of ever being one. He also won’t remember anyone he’s met.” Keeper said.
”We won’t let happen, right guys?” Koda asked.
“Yes Koda, we can’t give up on sir Riley. We’ll help him the best we can.” Ivan said.

A few hours have past and Riley hasn’t gotten better. His energem is becoming darker. Chase was replying the scene in his mind. He was wondering how Riley had the serge of energy at that moment. Riley could have let Arconon destroy Chase. Chase was so deep in thought that he didn’t notice Shelby sat next to him.
”How are you feeling?” Shelby asked.
She didn’t get a response.
”Chase!”
“What?”
“How are you feeling? You haven’t said much since we brought Riley back.”
“I don’t know, Shelby, I’m just confused. I mean one minute Riley was on the ground in pain, barley able to move, and then he gets up and starts attacking.”
“Well, Riley cares a lot about you.” Shelby said.
Chase was about to say something, but they heard the alarm go off. They hurried to the desk where everyone was around.
”Alien bio signs in the forest.” Ms. Morgan said.
“Come on guys, we have to go.” Tyler said.
Everyone started to move but Chase.
”Come on Chase!” Shelby said.
”You guys go ahead I’ll catch up in a second.” Chase said looking at the team.
The others ran out of the base. Chase walked over to Riley. He placed Riley’s hand in his.
“Come on Riles. Please wake up. The team needs you, I need you. What you did for me was so brave, I would be laying down right now if it wasn’t for you.” Chase said.
Chase started at Riley and saw a little bit of movement.
“I don’t know if you can hear me, but I love you, Riley. He said looking at Riley.
After Chase had said that, he ran out the door to help the others. When Chase left, Riley’s energem started to glow.
“Riley!” Keeper said, appearing from one of the caves.
Keeper watched in amazement as a green glow went through Riley’s body, almost like he was being rebonded to his energem. Keeper took a look at Riley’s energem, it was green again, but with a black line going from one corner to the other.
Before Keeper could even tell what was happening, Riley woke up. He woke up panicked. He darted his eyes around and looked at Keeper.
“The others, they need my help, where are they!?” Riley asked putting on his shirt.
“They’re in the forest.” Keeper said.
“Thanks Keeper!” Riley said running out.

“Ptera saber final strike!” Ivan said slashing Arconon.
“Haha, nice try gold ranger!” Arconon said while slashing Ivan.
“Now I can finally get rid of the black ranger, once and for all.” Acronon said looking at Chase.
Acronon started to walk up to Chase, but was hit by a blaster. Everyone looked at where the shot came from.
“Riley!” All the rangers shouted.
“What!? I thought I destroyed you!” Acronon said furiously.
“Clearly not, it’s morphin time! Dino charger, ready, energize, unleash the power!”
Everyone watched as Riley morphed. Once he morphed his uniform was different. On his helmet there was a black stripe. Everyone was confused.
“I think it’s about time I wipe you out of extension!” Riley said as he charged at Acronon.
“Green saber slash!” Riley yelled as he damaged Acronon.
“Green Prism Slash!” Riley said as Acronon was destroyed.
Riley ran over to the other rangers.
“Are you guys okay?” Riley said as he demorphed.
“Yeah, just a little hurt. But dude what is with your suite?” Tyler said getting up.
“Im not sure, but Ill have Keeper and Miss. Morgan look at it. Let’s get back to base.” Riley said walking.

In the ranger base Miss. Morgan was treating Tyler, while everyone else was with Keeper and Riley.
“Do you have any idea what this could mean?” Riley asked Keeper, holding out his energem.
“I’m not sure, I’ve never seen anything think like this.” Keeper said confused.
“What about your suite, there’s a black stripe on your helmet, could that mean something?” Shelby asked.
“Maybe it’s still not adding up.” Keeper said.
“Did anything happen when you were asleep?” Shelby asked.
“I don’t know, I was asleep, Shelbs.”
“Something did happen.” Keeper said. No one saw, but Miss. Morgan and Tyler joined them.
“Before you guys left, Chase stayed back and was talking to Riley. After Chase was done and left, Riley energem started to glow and his whole body glowed green.”
“Almost like he was being rebonded to his energem.” Ivan cut in.
”Exactly!” Keeper said.
Everyone was lost,still, until Miss. Morgan started to speak.
”Riley, do you feel like you have the power of a Parasaurolophus?”
“I mean only a little.”
“This may sound insane, but what if your’s and Chase’s energem combined.”
“That’s insane, but does make sense.” Riley said.
Chase pulled out his energem and sure enough there was a green stripe on his. He finally realized what happened.
“Can I talk to Riley alone?” Chase asked.
Everyone walked away.
“Riley, when your were asleep I told you that I loved you and left. So I think that’s what bonded us to each other.”
“I’m sorry, you love me.”
“Yeah, every since Cavity.”
Riley punched Chase’s arm.
“That was months ago dude, you didn’t bother to say anything until now?”
”I was scared you’d reject me and then the team would fall apart.”
Riley, didn’t what to say, kissed Chase. Chase kissed back because why wouldn’t he.
Everyone else looked over at them and smiled. Riley and Chase pulled back.
“Took you long enough!” Shelby said.
Everyone burst out laughing.

Months had past, Arconon was defeated and the rangers could go back to their normal lives. Tyler and Shelby went off with James to explore the world. Koda and Ivan went back to there respected times. Prince Phillip went back to taking care of Zander. Zenowing and Heckyl went back to stop Centi-6 from being destroyed. Miss. Morgan is staying at the museum. Chase and Riley. Chase and Riley are going to New Zealand.
“You ready?” Chase asked.
“Born ready.” Riley answered as they walked out of the gate, hand in hand.
They didn’t even make it 10 feet until Chole was jumping into Chases arms.
“I’ve missed you Chase.”
“And I’ve missed you.”
When Chase put Chole down she turned and looked at Riley. She gave him a hug too. Riley was shocked. After a couple for seconds Chole let go.
“Come on, let’s go find mum!” Chile said. Running away.
”Looks like she already loves you.” Chase said whispering to Riley.
Riley chuckled a little and give Chase a kiss on the cheek. Chase smiled and connected their hands once again. This was going to be a great year for them.
