   Summary

   "Mike, What's wrong? I won't tell Will." Ms Byers asked, already opening the first aid and grabbing what she needed. "It's fine, I'm fine." Mike tried to avoid her gaze once again, but the small bathroom didn't make it easy.

   Mike looked at her with glassy eyes. His entire life was changed and he had no idea where he would be in a week but those words, Those 7 words, They crushed him. He felt everything he had been trying to hold in since he left the house he was no longer safe in, he felt it pour out. His eyes leaked a clear salty liquid, and it stung. He could taste the salt on his tongue, the way it tastes off but also comforting. Like it helped ground him.
