Summary:

(I'll think of a better title eventually)

Mixture of original/Royal/Scramble ending because I'm lazy. Let's pretend Emma/Kasumi are off somewhere.

The Phantom Thieves have split up to achieve their goals, but they keep in touch often via text/phone calls/video calls. Ryuji announces he has a girlfriend, and Ann is confused. Very confused.

Eventual Ryuji/Ann, implied Akira/Makoto, implied Yusuke/Futaba. This is experimental. I already have a few chapters, and they're meant to mostly build a story via texts though there will be some actual scenes. Enjoy!

I love the conversations the Phantom Thieves have in the games. I wanted to try and capture that. Not sure if it's all in character because it's been a while since I played the games. Let me know if something seems OOC.

There are mainly three chat groups. The Phantom Thieves with everyone in it, the Phantom Dudes which are only the guys, and the Phantom Ladies which are only the ladies.

[6:28PM] Ryuji: Yooooo!

 

[6:29PM] Akira: Yo! Where’ve you been? We thought the ground swallowed you up.

[6:29PM] Akira: Morgana says it sucks that you weren’t. 😆

 

[6:29PM] Ryuji: Too bad, cat. I’m alive. And even better, I got good news!

 

[6:30PM] Ann: Ooh! Did Street Brawlers VI come out yet? The collector’s edition?

 

[6:30PM] Akira: Morgana: Not a cat, you jerk! 😾😾😾

 

[6:30PM] Yusuke: Discovered a new dish? Send us the recipe. Perhaps we can try it out at Le’Blanc.

 

[6:31PM] Ryuji: Nah. Not yet, thanks for the reminder though. Gotta pick that up in a few weeks. Anyway, keeping guessing.

[6:31PM] Ryuji: Really, man? No! It’s not food related.

 

[6:32PM] Fuutaba: Spit out already! I have a Super Sentai episode to catch in a few minutes.

[6:50PM] Haru: I cannot confirm nor deny that Mako-chan was mysteriously missing during our three day holiday weekend not too long ago. 😛

[6:51PM] Ann: A girlfriend? But what about track? I thought you were focused on rehab, and running again? Ryuji, I mean.

 

[6:53PM] Ryuji: I still am. Me, and Chieru just… kinda happened? Not that I’m complainin’. Hell yeah, I’ve got a girl. It feels so awesome to say that. My girl.

[6:46PM] Ann: Wait. There’s photos?

 

[6:46PM] Fuutaba: Before you ask, I already checked. They’re not photoshopped.

 

[6:47PM] Haru: On Ryuji’s Instagraham. Brunette with curly hair. I vaguely remember Mako-chan mentioning she’s part American too? Like you, Ann.

 

[6:48PM] Ann: Really? Let me see. 

[6:50PM] Ann: Uhh… the one with her ends dyed blue?

 

[6:50PM] Makoto: That would be the one, yes.

 

[6:51PM] Haru: She’s pretty, isn’t she? I love her shoes. 😍 🥰

 

[6:53PM] Fuutaba: Suspicious. Ok, Super Sentai, BRB.

 

[6:56PM] Ann: Yeah, I guess. I mean…question is, why’s she interested in a guy like Ryuji? He’s Ryuji!

 

[7:05PM] Haru: Lol Ryuji is sweet though.

 

[7:07PM] Makoto: Haru’s right. He can be… abrasive, but one of his best qualities is his loyalty. Perhaps Chieru-chan saw that in him. The same way we see how good he is.
