Summary
It was supposed to be a very simple rescue. The building wasn’t even on fire anymore, they had managed to put that out relatively quickly. Someone had been cooking dinner and the food had just gone up in flames, triggering the fire alarm. It was supposed to be easy, evacuate the entire apartment complex, put out the fire and leave.
Of course nothing was so easy when they discovered one of the elevators had malfunctioned during the fire, cable snapping and sending it crashing down two stories.
Or: A rescue goes terribly wrong for Buck.
