Work Text:

“So…. In the second movie of Theatre Dungeon, you played Rose.”

Han Sooyoung put down her pen and started pondering. This episode had happened so early that the Story fragments were trivial, which caused it to remain a mere story instead of a Giant Story. Consequently, only the participants would know the details.

Before actually using Lee Seolhwa’s Story Fragment Extractor, a writer needed to obtain her materials with the primitive method.

The visitor today would be Jung Heewon, and she brought Lee Hyunsung, too. Han Sooyoung was completely fine with it. After all, it would be better if the story were justified by the others. Also, they were the main characters, which meant they had completed scenarios since the initial stage. If she had their certification, there could be some solid characters in the beginning of the story.

Lee Hyunsung mumbled something unconsciously, “ Titanic ….”

Jung Heewon nodded and showed expressions of recalling memories.

There was a lonely but cherishing smile on her face, which made her look rather elegant. When she was silent, her beauty was gentle and quiet.

Lee Hyunsung, who was sitting beside her, was silent too.

Later, as though something had dawned on him, his face became completely red.

The three in the room figured out the reason simultaneously.

Well, in the movie, Rose was wearing the Heart of the Ocean in a naked posture for Jack to sketch a portrait.

And in the story, Jung Heewon played Rose.

Lee Hyunsung thought about the two events at the same time and combined them with his imagination.

When Lee Hyunsung bent himself and buried his face in his hands out of guilt, he was trembling, and Jung Heewon burst into laughter at him due to the sight of this.

Lee Hyunsung could barely look at Jung Heewon. His posture looked like he was confessing or waiting for his sentence.

Han Sooyoung uncontrollably started wondering whether the sight Lee Hyunsung saw in his imagination would be far clearer and even more enchanting than her own. After all, they’d probably actually seen the bodies of each other.

Jung Heewon looked at the man in a rather teasing way. She didn’t seem offended, and didn't seem to sentence him either.

She just smiled with much pleasure and poked Lee Hyunsung’s waist.

Right at the moment when she was about to make fun of him, Han Sooyoung interrupted Jung Heewon. She didn’t want to witness them flirt since she already had enough of this kind of atmosphere.

“So, you’ve seen the Heart of the Ocean?”

As a writer, Han Sooyoung was more curious about it. Was the legendary jewel actually so breathtaking? Therefore, she asked bluntly.

Upon hearing the words “the Heart of the Ocean”, Lee Hyunsung was startled and almost flinched.

He looked way too prudish, which made Han Soooyung feel annoyed. Jung Heewon, however, was rather amused.

She seemed to consider it cute for Lee Hyunsung to act like that. The eyes of a writer told Han Sooyoung that her judgment on Jung Heewon’s emotions were correct.

Just give her a break. If she hadn’t known they had already broken up, Han Sooyoung would definitely have said, “People in love are absolutely blind.”

Nonetheless, as an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend, the distance of these two were just odd, in an unbelievable way.

“The Heart of the Ocean….”

Jung Heewon repeated the words on purpose, and Lee Hyunsung’s face was barely viewable since it was basically between his knees. It seemed that the stress in her tone was knocking on his spine, making him lower himself a bit more.

“Of course not. Jihye instantly killed the villain in that movie, so we managed to end it fast.”

“Who played Jack?”

When the question was stated, Lee Hyunsung’s breath became heavy.

And then Jung Heewon placed her hand on the back of his neck. It looked like she was comforting a small animal or something. She instantly answered Han Sooyoung.

“Gilyoung did.”

Han Sooyoung looked at her actions and continued her quickfire questions.

“Did you stop her from killing the villain?”

“Once,” Jung Heewon answered, “That guy…looked too real. Though I knew he was just a character.”

“What reward did you get?”

“I took a sword. It was my first sword, a very good sword. Felt nice swinging it,” Jung Heewon thought and said, “I don’t really remember about Jihye…. Dokja-ssi took Hercules’ Shield for Hyunsung. As for Gilyoung, it was Mjolnir I guess? The one of Thor’s.”

Han Sooyoung wrote down all the information in order in her notebook and waved her hand to ask them to go out quickly. As long as they were here, the sticky, flirty atmosphere in the room got more and more unbearable every second.

On her request, Jung Heewon took Lee Hyunsung’s hand and strode away, and Lee Hyunsung could only follow her with his head down, barely able to look at her. He was pulled away like he was a kid that had done something wrong.

The fact that he was apparently taller, stronger, and with a larger build made this even more ridiculous and funnier.

Han Sooyoung tried to write.

However, she couldn’t help but think about the sight a while ago, and she became agitated.

By how it looked, they’ll probably get back together sooner or later.

Her hands were fixed in the air, right above the keyboard. Should I set a clue?

The decisive writer was surprisingly doubtful right now, unable to make her decision.

Perhaps, before she finished this book, the sword and shield of Kim Dokja’s Company would have already started dating again.

—Or, did they actually come here to date?
