a light seeping through the window woke up jeno from his peaceful sleep. as soon as he woke up, his nose caught the smell of toasted bread and coffee. his feet headed to the kitchen where a man with a duck print apron was cooking.
"how was your sleep?"
"good, but i need caffeine." jeno replied. he sat on the stool and stared at the man while he was busy filling the cup with coffee.
the man placed a cup of coffee in front of him. he silently sipped his drink while watching his boyfriend cook. sunday morning like this is his favorite, taking a break from his work and spending time with loved ones.
"jen, we need to take tofu to the doctor later, and let's do some groceries, too." his boyfriend placed the toast and eggs in front of him.
he stood up and walked to his boyfriend.
"i love you, nana" jeno said while hugging jaemin tightly.
the pink-haired jaemin faced him and flashed a warm smile. he planted a light kiss on jeno's nose and another kiss on the forehead.
"good morning, and i love you too, jen" jaemin replied. sunday morning it is. "i'll take that as a yes. we are going out later and you will drive"
jeno chuckled and kissed the strawberry-haired man quickly on the lips. the couple ate their breakfast. it is a slow sunday with the scent of burnt toast and coffee beans.
he reached a box in his pocket, tonight he will ask jaemin to spend a lifetime with him. a sunday like this forever.
