    He’d been stumbling through the untamed wilds for several hours, trying to find his way back after straying too far away from the road, his horse, and the rest of the Bell’s Hells.
    He caught sight of the shadow standing in the trees, rising from a crouch to stand five– six– seven- eight feet tall.
    He swallowed down the bubble of air in his throat as the shadow swayed, taking massive steps forwards. In response, Orym took a step backwards, maybe more than one. He wasn’t really thinking when the creature stepped through the undergrowth within a couple dozen feet from him.
    It was a minotaur.
    A very naked minotaur.
