“It’s not stupid,” he says, turning to look at Jeongguk in the low light, his features blurred by proximity. “We’re only human. We have needs.”
Inhaling deeply, Jeongguk nods. “Yeah, we do.” His scent grows just a touch stronger, citrus overpowering the smell of dumpster garbage and piss. He giggles, stumbling slightly as he puts a hand on Taehyung’s shoulder. “This makes me feel less alone, though, knowing you’re in the same spot.”
“I hate that you’re suffering, too, though,” Taehyung replies, eyes stuck on the hand Jeongguk keeps on his shoulder. “You should have someone to kiss, Guk, someone should-someone should keep your bed warm—someone…” He closes his eyes, swallowing hard as he prods a finger into Jeongguk’s chest. “Someone should make you feel good. So good.”
A shuddering breath leaves Jeongguk, one Taehyung can feel ghosting over his cheeks. “S-someone should m-make you feel good t-too, Tae.”
Or one drunken night in an alley alters the course of Jeongguk and Taehyung’s friendship forever.
