   Summary

   This is blatantly an AU based upon the hero and princess of the calamity from 10k years ago in Botw. Does it stick to canon? Probably not. Really just winging this.

   Zelda is the new queen of a throne she does not covet, and the leader of a church she herself despises and cannot believe in. Link is a simple outcast of Faron, son of high expectations and meeting none of them. In religiously tumultuous times (caused by none other than the queen herself), both struggle to find their place in a world that cannot seem to let either of them win, be it God, man, or fate.
