It was the year 1482 Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun were both jousters, and they hated each other. They would often compete against each other in jousting tournaments. There rivalry kept them both motivated to compete in every challenge. Although they were always careful not to hurt each other as not to halt there battle for one day.
It was a normal day, no different to any other. Tyler was practicing on his horse in the stables for his next tournament, hitting the target over and over again with his blunt lance imagining his enemy josh in place of the target. He was ready to fight him but he felt the suspicion that as of recently he was also just happy to see him. He would lay awake at night on his pallet of hay wondering, did Josh ever ponder about him in this way as well? No, it couldn't be he felt silly to have such a thought slip through his thoughts. He hated josh, even he didn't have these feelings, right? Tyler's horse nayed reminding him to slip back into reality. He hit the target with more force this time, he needed to stay focused his tournament was only the very next day! For hours more he trained running back and forth until sun down. He felt fully ready for his tournament in the coming hours.
Tyler went to bed dreaming of how he would soon win, and the look on Josh's sorry face when he did.
(the next day)
Tyler was awakened at dawn to the birds chirping outside, what a beautiful day for a soon to be champion. The jousting would start in only a few hours so he quickly got ready in uniform and hopped on his horse, quickly heading to the stadium in which he was sure to quickly conquer.
On arrival he saw his enemy in front of his. He looked over to Josh and they looked into each others eyes understanding there mutual hatred for each other, but then why did the others eyes make Tyler feel such ways, his stomach flipped upside down and thank god he was wearing his Jousters helmet or else he would have let everyone there know how much he was blushing at that moment. Was josh also blushing under his helmet? No, certainly not. He had to focus anyways by now he was to go on in a few minutes and he had to get to his side of the stadium in which he would exit when the game had started.
He rushed over just in time for him to be let out into the arena, on the other end was Josh on his jet black horse, the exact opposite of his pure white horse. The announcer was shouting out commands for when they should begin, until he heard, "Let the jousting BEGIN!!" Tyler immediately soured across the arena, the crowds cheers fueled his furry. he held his blunt lance out in front of him aiming for josh. 'Just like training." Tyler mumbled to no one but himself. Josh also came trudging at him holding out his own blunted lance. Tyler was the first to hit, his lance made contact with joshes leg, that was not supposed to happen... The jet black horse stopped as Josh seethed in pain.
where were the medics? No one had noticed Joshes pain and continued to call out Tyler's name. "Oh no! Sir Josh!" Tyler belted although the crowd was to loud. Tyler swiftly turned his white horse around and road to Joshes rescue. He stopped next to josh, "Are you okay Sir Josh?" Tyler questioned. "No you blithering idiot you broke my foot!" Josh rudely remarked. The crowd began too boo shouting, "continue the jousting!" Tyler ignored them, "Get on the back of my horse ill ride you to the medic!" Josh nodded and slowly switched horses in pain. Tyler road both of them out of the arena the crowd quite literally started throwing tomatoes.
"I need a medic for sir Josh!" Tyler called out hopping off his horse and helping Josh down as well. "Thank you Sir Tyler." Josh stated, Tyler smiled through his helmet and nodded. The medics took josh away to there room. They rapped Joshes foot and put it in a splint. When he left the medics room he realized Tyler had waited for him the whole time they were fixing his foot. Tyler sat on a bench holding his helmet in his hands looking almost sad. Josh walked over and sat next to him. "Are you okay?" Tyler asked looking up from his helmet. "Ill be alright no thanks to you." Josh said in a joking way and lightly punched Tyler's shoulder.
As Josh looked at Tyler who looked so sad for hurting him he relized how much Tyler meant to him. "Uh...Sir Tyler." Josh said calmly. Tyler looked up and locked eyes with Josh. At this moment josh took off his helmet and quickly leaned in and kissed Tyler. It was perfect. Josh was so happy and so was tyler. When they pulled away they both smiled until they noticed that all the medics had watched it go down. They were screwed. It was the renaisance. They ran out of the arena with a crowd of medics chasing them. "Sir Josh!" Tyler yelled, "What is it Sir Tyler?" Josh questioned. "Would you like to commit arson with me?" Tyler asked while sprinting next to Josh, who nodded to Tylers proposal. They quickly snagged a torch from a medic chasing them and burnt the entire town down.
The End. Screw you.
