“The whole restaurant for you two?” Señor Hueso asked without believing it.
A rabbit had come to his office, a few minutes before the restaurant closed, saying his name was Miyamoto Usagi, from what he saw he was a samurai, the daisho on his waist was an obvious sign.
He was direct in his request, he wanted to "rent" his restaurant one night just for him and his partner, of course with the food and music service.
He had explained that it was his partner's favorite restaurant, that for some time they both wanted to have a date in this one, but Usagi couldn't stand the crowds.
So they had resigned themselves to going to other places, but it wasn't the same, so Usagi was willing to surprise him and have the long-awaited date once and for all.
But Hueso had to think about his business, a few times in the past he "rented" his restaurant to mafia leaders, they were important yokai who paid well for the service, so how much was the rabbit willing to pay?

“More than enough” Hueso cleared his throat, in an attempt to hide his happiness for the amount of money, maybe it was even enough for Junior's university “then what day and what time would it be?”

The lighting, the decoration, the music and the food. Everything was ready for the big date, the only thing missing was the couple, who would arrive in a few minutes.

He heard the entrance portal to the Hidden City (which he was able to open, thanks to the fact that he was no longer a wanted criminal), approaching to receive his clients, when he heard a voice.

Hueso knew that voice well, he walked with more haste towards the entrance
“Pepino, what are you doing here? The restaurant is reserved for a date, you must leave immedia…” he didn’t finish his sentence, finally seeing the turtle
Leo wore a gala suit, a black jacket and pants, a white shirt, above it a gray vest, with a blue tie with black lines and finally with black shoes.
Hueso almost cried, because Leo looked like a gentleman in a suit.
“Is there a problem?” now he hears his client Usagi, who was standing next to Leo
Usagi wore a simple tuxedo, except it was blue and with a black bow tie.
"Yes" Hueso said. "No" Leo said at the same time.
Usagi raised his eyebrows in confusion.
“Usagi, why didn't you tell me that we would come with Bone-man? I would have suit myself better” the turtle complained jokingly, Usagi held the waist of his boyfriend
“I wanted it to be a surprise for you, my love” he replied simply giving Leo a kiss on the cheek, who blushed a little shyly at the nickname
Pepino was Usagi's partner?!
Leo noticed that Hueso was looking at them in surprise.
“Oops I forgot” began Leo who scratched his neck nervously “Señor Hueso, I present you my boyfriend, Miyamoto Usagi, samurai under the order of Lord Mifune, we have been dating for a few months”
Hueso was outraged, why did he find out about the relationship until now? Pepino didn't trust him?, but he decided to not show his annoyance about it.

“Pepino?” asked Usagi confused

“Everything for you, darling” Usagi took Leo's hand kissing it, the turtle turning redder

“Ajem, you can go to your table now, your food will arrive in a moment” he made a gesture for them to sit down, which they both did.
Hueso went to the kitchen at the same time he took his cell phone to call someone.

“Piel, you have to come but quick!” the skeleton began to speak urgently
“What's wrong, hermano? Bandits? Pirates? Thieves? I'll gather my crew right away”
“No! Is Pepino!”
“Leonardo! What happened to him? Is he okay?”
“No, no, he has a date, right now at the restaurant”

Señor Hueso was reflecting, now he understood, he considered Leo a son, one that he had known for a short time but whom he saw grow and change, for whom he did not avoid worrying and whom he always tried to support

“Congratulations you are a father! Again! Hehe, do me a favor and say hello to my nephew for me” his brother mocked “tomorrow you tell me everything, goodbye Hueso”
And Piel hung up, leaving Hueso to his thoughts.

Leo and Usagi enjoyed the food, chatting, joking and laughing between bites.
They hadn't seen each other for days, each one with their responsibilities knowing that they had to fulfill them but wanting to see each other at all times.
The tortoise was still surprised that Usagi managed to have the restaurant to themselves. Since before, he wanted to come, eat with him and introduce him to Señor Hueso whom he considered as a father figure, although it was difficult to know if the skeleton considered him the same as a family. Ignoring the above, he was happy to be with his boyfriend.
His thoughts were interrupted when he saw Usagi, who had gotten up and stood next to him, offering his hand.
"Would you like to dance, my love?" asked the rabbit, bowing and smiling
A slow and soft melody was heard around him, as if the music itself was waiting for the answer.
"With you Usagi?... Always" Leo smiled and without hesitation took his hand, letting the rabbit guide him
They began to dance, the music taking a fast rhythm, getting lost between the steps and their gazes, without caring who was the guide, they let themselves be carried away unconsciously, almost dancing all over the place.
So distracted in themselves, ignoring the rest, because they were only the most important thing at that time for both of them.
The melody became slow again, they danced in short and simple steps, Leo rested his head on his partner's chest while Usagi caressed the shinobi's shell in small circles.
"Do you know you look so handsome in a suit?" Leo murmured, the rabbit laughed, his chest vibrating with laughter, making the turtle smile
"Yes, you told me a lot of times on the way here" Usagi laughed again "Do you know how much I love you?"
Leo raised his head, looking straight into the samurai's eyes.
"No, not really" he joked while frowning with a smile, Usagi also smiled
"Well… how about I show you?
They both brought their faces closer, Leo placing one hand on the soft white fur cheek and the other on the opposite chest, while Usagi had both hands on his back and neck.
They looked at each other for a few seconds, making their feelings for the other clear and they kissed, a long, sweet and delicate kiss.
They separated when they felt that the air was running out, joining their foreheads with their eyes closed.
"I love you Leonardo" whispered the rabbit, as if he feared that the whole world would hear him
"I love you too Usagi"

"I hope the evening has been enjoyable for both of you" Hueso began, accompanying the couple to the exit that led directly to New York "with a good rating taking into account the service, the food and the music"
"5 out of 5 stars bone-man, I would recommend it to my acquaintances" Leo joked, Usagi laughed
He would never get tired of his boyfriend's jokes
"Thank you very much for making this evening possible, Señor Hueso" Usagi bowed in gratitude "I hope to be able to return soon with Leo for another date like this"
"Yes, yes, conejo, can I talk to you in private for a few minutes?" Hueso asked.
Usagi looked at him confused as did Leo.
The samurai nodded anyway, Hueso started walking towards his office with the young man following him.
When they arrived, he closed the door, he did not want Pepino to hear the conversation
"What's wrong sir? Missed money or did we break something by accident…?"
"What are your intentions with Leonardo?"
Usagi jumped in surprise, not expecting that question.
"Excuse me?"
"Your intention with Pepino? He is the leader of his clan and you are a samurai with a Lord, are you being honest with him? Are you manipulating, cheating, making him fall into a trap?"
Usagi suppressed the urge to laugh, he knew the conversation was serious, but it reminded him a lot of when the members of the Hamato Clan had asked him the same questions.
His teacher Katsuichi had also asked Leo the same questions, who understood because he was from a clan of ninjas.

"Everything's fine?" Leo asked when Señor Hueso and Usagi finally left the office.
"I just wanted to clarify some things with your partner, Pepino, nothing to worry about"
The tortoise nodded in understanding, although curious about what they had talked about.
"Time to leave! We still have a marathon pending from Jupiter Jim, let's go!" Leo pointed to the exit
"Wait Pepino"
Leo stopped, Hueso walking towards him with his arms outstretched.
'Is it a…?' His thoughts were interrupted, receiving the skeleton's hug 'wow, I shouldn't cry, don't cry, don't cry, don't cry…'
The turtle shed a few happy tears, his suit sleeve wiping away the trail of tears.
Hueso broke away from the hug, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"If the rabbit hurts you, don't hesitate to call me" Hueso said simply "Good night"
Leo started laughing as Usagi took his hand to leave the restaurant.
"Good night, Señor Hueso!"
