Day 10: Head in the clouds but my gravity centered
Prompt: Una mesa de pool, una apuesta, y un bartender enojado.
Well, he knew he deserved it, he knew he shouldn't have played with fire… but that stranger was so attractive.
Narancia Ghirga was someone simple. He knew well what he wanted, and in those moments, that was a cute blond to complete his night.
He had not only managed to get money from many idiots who, believing that bullshit of "I’m bad at pool" and "just beginner" had bet their belongings, but also, he had managed to find a charming boy at the bar. After a little analysis, Narancia knew that he was alone, and judging by his annoyed face, someone had stood him up. He was perfect.
"Can I sit here?" Narancia said with a typical charming smile that he hoped would be enough to quickly convince the other.
"Fuck off," grunted the handsome blond as he continued to drink from his martini.
"I just wanted to be nice, I see that you are very lonely and I wanted to keep you company." Sitting next to him, he was surprised by the perfume the boy gave off. It was almost hypnotizing, but at the same time slightly overwhelming.
"I'm fine alone, thanks." It was obvious that he was going to play difficult, with that hard exterior anyone would have been scared, but he wasn’t just anyone . Ghirga seriously thought that it would cost him more than he would have wished, however, that beautiful face was screaming to go out and have fun, he had no doubts.
"What a temper…" he sighed and ordered a drink from the bitter bartender, who had also been a victim of his scams. "And you plan to stay all night with that face?"
"I was born with this one." If he had to compare him to something, Narancia would say that the blonde looked like a sullen cat. He couldn't believe that such a pretty creature could have a completely repellent personality, but that only made him more attractive, he didn't leave, nor did he pretend to give up.
"Look, it's not my fault you got stood up, I just want to be nice." Sighing, the dark-haired man tried to feel bitter, but it was impossible for him. What did that guy have that made him insist? He had no idea, but there he was.
"Then start showing off your nice attitude by stopping talking to me." Getting up from his place, the charming blond left a couple of bills on the bar and seemed ready to leave, when Narancia stopped him from doing so by stepping in his way.
"You know what? You're right, I don't know why I thought I could have something with you."
"Because you're looking for easy bitches, for sure…" Narancia hated to seem insistent, but there was something about that boy that was driving him crazy , causing him to need to follow after him, argue and if he was worthy enough, something else.
"Let's do something, I challenge you to a game of pool. If you win, I'll leave you alone. But if I win… You'll go out with me and join the list of easy bitches."
"Done." An almost malicious smile was seen on the blonde's lips, there was something that generated a certain suspicion in Narancia, but he was not going to back down, not when he had managed to make him so desperate.
"Fool…"
"Idiot..."
Once at the pool table, both boys decided to start with their bet, which caught the attention of more than one, not only because of how attractive Fugo looked when playing (it was strange that a single person drew so many looks), but by Narancia who kept claiming only to have a lucky streak.
"You know? I'm thinking where to take you when you lose. It could be to a cheap hotel, or to my house if you give up now." Confidence, Narancia was not going to hesitate to emanate confidence, he did not think about committing a single mistake in his game, now more than ever, even if that charming boy looked at him with his dreamy eyes, so mysterious... But he needed to focus, the game had already started!
"In your dreams." Fugo laughed as he braced himself for his first shot. Strands of hair covered that beautiful face, and Narancia couldn't help but think about how soft his hair was, how he wanted to win at all costs. "And start taking your game more seriously, idiot."
To say that he had not fought to win that game of pool was a lie, he really was trying, he spent that whole round trying to think about his moves, not to see his opponent's beautiful eyes, in not getting drunk with the aphrodisiac smell that enveloped him, in not getting lost in the curves that he possessed and tempted him. However, when he least expected it, that challenge was over and he had finished without scoring a single point.
"What? It's not possible, you cheated!"
"No, you got distracted looking at my ass and didn't notice how bad you played."
"You’re lying!"
"Oh, yeah? Tell me why you think so, I saw it with my own eyes." Fugo smirked and the other could have sworn his violet eyes turned red for an instant.
"Because I'm good at playing this!" Narancia shouted, calling the attention of more than one of the spectators and some people he had cheated that night. "Shit…"
"Until next time, pretty face." Fugo smiled, letting some of the customers rush over Narancia, who ran to the door with almost inhuman speed.
Yes, the stupid and beautiful Pannacotta Fugo had ruined his night... but who has give him the right to be so damn hot? He had used that beauty against him, and perhaps Narancia regretted it a bit as he fled from the men who were chasing him.
The night was already ending. That bar was almost empty, except for two stools that were occupied by the bartender and a client, a strange client with a tail and a pair of horns coming out of his head.
"I must say I didn't expect to find a new toy." The handsome blond fiddled with one of the glasses as he finished checking what he might recognize as an ID. “Narancia Ghirga…”
"Are you serious, Fugo? Are you really planning to go out with that one?" Abbacchio said incredulously, as he cleaned the remaining glasses on the bar. "I should ban you from this place. Someone eating my customers is not very profitable for the business."
"He's cute. Kind of silly… but I think he's my type." Fugo laughed, passing a strand of hair behind his ear and smiling with a certain flirtatiousness. "Besides, I have his wallet. I know he's coming back. He's crazy for me."
Yes, Pannacotta also had a few tricks up his sleeve.
