Summary
There were only the last hints of a full-length storm in the air, the fresh, cool smell of a summer morning was more than captivating in combination with the scent of the forest. 12-year-old Leone Abbacchio, a boy from a powerful ancient werewolf Italian family, could not resist the lure of the forest that tickled all his wolf senses.
On his way through the forest, when he wanted to avoid a family gathering and kill time by fishing, he comes across the motionless body of a young boy right on the river bank. At this moment, his soul was bound to a higher power than fate and he wasn't afraid to do anything to make the black haired boy a part of it.

To that effect, she could really use a sustainable source of income, a semblance of control over her supposedly powerful bloodline, and maybe, just maybe, some friends.
This is far too much to ask of one werewolf pack, in her opinion, but somehow they don't seem to share the sentiment.
*financial/food insecurity, the on-going repercussions of having run away from home at the tender age of fourteen, a general sense of ennui regarding her existence in this world, etc., etc..
