Summary
On September 22nd, 4025, at 19:03, the freight ship "la Passione" plummeted following an unknown incident which occurred at 19:00, only three minutes earlier. It was welcomed by the void, kissed by stars. Shrapnel and debris twirled through the airless atmosphere like white-clad ballerinas. Wires snaked from the bisected body of the ship, waving like stalks of seaweed. Blood oozed like viscous goo, keeping shape, slowly reaching its freezing point, crystallizing at the edges. Bodies slept soundly in anti-gravity, their limbs strewn haphazardly about the vacuum, their skin blue, their fingers cracking. Gold-plated glass glittered, the cosmos reflected in their convex arcs and broken shards. Only fifteen escape pods landed successfully.
What follows is an account of the events following the crash.
