Chapter Text
Hanta slammed headfirst into the concrete building.
He barely had enough time to turn his body so it was prepared for the harsh pain that shot through every muscle and bone possible. Hanta could feel that warm thick liquid that quickly ran all over his lower face. The extreme pain in the center of his face could only confirm that the raven head had broken his nose.
"Oh my goodness I'm so sorry!!", a sweet voice called out as Hanta fell down onto the roof of the lower building. Hanta wouldv'e crash into the streets below if he was swinging in the streets and not over the rooftops of Musatafu.
Hanta could only let out a groan as he curl into himself holding onto his arm. He is– 99.99% sure that he broke his arm. The other .01% was that every bone was dislocated between the elbow and shoulder. Every bone and no Hanta wasn't being dramatic that shit hurt.
"Uravity! What's the holdup?"
A pair of steps landed on the other side of the rooftop and Hanta looked up through teary eyes to see a teen in a green and black hoodie. The bunny-like things flopped around on the top of the hood and a bright red belt was attached to the black cargo pants. The most startling thing was the bright red tennis shoes he wore. It was most certainly eye-catching.
"Deku! I think he slammed too hard into the building and broke some bones– Oh god what should we do?"
Glancing over to his left. Hanta could see a pair of white boots with a pink accent stand just far enough that he could almost make out the details of her outfit when looking up but just far enough that she was out of arms reach.
"We can't stay here long...", the male spoke, but Hanta could hear both the sympathy and the hesitation. After a few seconds footsteps came closer and Hanta looked back forward to let out a pained laugh.
"Listen, man," he wheezed. "I'm going to get you one day."
"And until then you need to be more careful... Although I guess I can see how you weren't expecting the impact of the building when Uravity used her quirk on you. Your balance was likely thrown off since you use your weight to gain momentum as you move. The sudden feeling of losing that weight like thrown you off but since you were already in momentum you didn't get to properly-"
The girl gasped moving Hanta's focus to her before suddenly kneeling down to try and make eye contact with Hanta.
"Do you have your comm with you? If you don't Deku and I could call someone to get you up on the roof so you don't get stuck up here”
Uravity, that's her name? She slowly reached down into one of her pockets and pulled out a crappy walkie-talkie."Deku made this so we could make anonymous calls to the police without being tracked. If either of us made the call on our regular phone we'd get tracked faster than we could blink.”
She let out a small chuckle, the exact same time Deku could be heard testing out the rusty doorknob that lead into the building."-and from the looks of it, the building is locked so it doesn't look like Cellophane could walk down the building himself. He likely can't use his quirk to get down from here since it's a Ten story building, if he did then the gravity would likely make his injury worse. Cellophane couldn't use his other arm as a brace to prevent that. Uravity?"
The girl looked over and her short brown curtain bangs swayed with her. "Yea Deku?"
"Do you think we have anything to use as a splint for him? If not we just need to call in and leave"
Uravity glanced around before shaking her head sadly. "Nothing here"
"Call in then we can't do anything else for him. Hey Cellophane? Do you think you can keep holding onto your arm? We don't have anything for your nose but the best we can do is tell you not to tilt your head back. It would suck to drown in your blood on a roof"
Hanta held back a laugh as he could hear the faint voice of one of his classmates yelling in the back of his mind.
'Don't tilt your fucking head back dunceface! Didn't know you wanted a fucking shitty death from a broken nose.'
"I'm sorry we can't help you more", Uravity sighed as she stood back up before bringing the walkie-talkie to her face and speeching into the small device.
Hanta was quick to do one last scan of the vigilantes as they walked off. For a moment Hanta considers trying to use his quirk to tape down the duo but even when he faintly loosened his grip pain grew in his arm.
Hopefully, the next time that Hanta sees the two, he won't slam into the concrete like a bug to the windshield.

"Bro you look like you got hit by a bus!", Kaminari laughed as he poked the raven in the cheek. Hanta only sighed as he sat down in his seat. The cast that his right arm sat in was uncomfortable and the splint for his nose teased him at the edge of his vision.
"I'll do you one better, I got hit by a building"
Bakugou didn't even try to hide the snort that came out. That bastard. Hanta only sighed, glared down at the backpack, and glanced over at the blond.
"Do you think that I could borrow your notes at the end of the school day? RG won't be back till later on and my arms all fucked."
Ruby's eyes rolled as Hanta gave a pleading grin. "That's why you need to not get your ass whoop by a building. How the hell did you miss an entire ass building anyways"
Mina giggled as she jumped up to sit on the edge of the desk and lean toward Hanta."Congratulations, we thought that if anyone was stupid enough to run into a building it wouldv'e been Denki"
Hanta huffed as he ignored the indigent cries that left the electric blond. Grey eyes only cared to give the Denki a glance, "Vigilante chick had some kinda quirk that messed up my balance or weight or something. Imagine you swinging at a fast speed then all of a sudden you get thrown off in focus because you feel like you floating."
"Oh the things I would do to get my ass whooped by a hot vigilante.", a voice whined, Hanta turned around to look at the shorter teen. Mineta sighed as he look up from his phone to Hanta. "Your so lucky, every time you get your butt kicked by some female. You gotta tell me how you do it"
Before Hanta had a chance to say anything Mina let out a small annoyed huff. "Why do you say it like that?”
"I'm just saying that he always gets his ass whooped by a female of all things, repeatedly? Seems deliberate at that point"
Mina frowned as she hopped off Hanta's desk and closer to the Grape hero. "Are you saying that Sero purposely gets hurt for some kink or that woman shouldn't be able to kick his ass?"
Mineta sighed as if the answer was obvious, "Just think about it–"
Hanta decided to let Mina go into that argument on her own, she didn't need any support to kick someone's ass. Instead, he looks forward to Kyoka. "Do you think I could use your notes? I don't know how well mine will be today."
She only shrugged before giving a small "Sure, just don't get it covered in chocolate."
"Oh, what the fuck? Are my notes suddenly not good enough?", Katsuki growled as he glared back at Hanta.
The raven stuck his tongue out, "You never said I could use your notes! I'm just coming up with a backup plan."
Kyoka sighed, the sound of Mina and Mineta bickering in the background with the other classmates talking. "Are you able to tell us anything about the vigilante anyways?"
Hanta thought for a moment before nodding, "Yea the case doesn't seem big enough that they had me sign any NDAs. And just to make it clear there were two vigilantes a boy and a girl. I think they're both around our age. The girl went by some name like Uravity and she's the one who got me to slam head first into the building"
Denki held back a small chuckle before they were cut off by a dramatic whine, "My shirt! What the heck man!". Almost immediately after Mina came skipping back into view and sat comfortably on Katsuki's desk.
The blond was quick to try and shove Pinky off but she was quicker to grab onto the blond's hand. If she fell down he would be going down with her, Mina laughed in delight as Katsuki tried to pull his hand away, Mina had a stronger grip than she would let on.
"The other one, he wore these most bright obnoxious red sneakers. Kats, you have had a fucking fit if you saw them. Pure bright red."
"Well, I'm having a fucking fit right now if this pink bitch doesn't LET GO!!"Mina stuck out her tongue playfully before Katsuki pushed his connected hand forward with a small hiss. Mina almost fell off the desk.
"But anyways, he was the one I originally started chasing after, dude had a pack to his punch man. I'm positive he probably has a strength quirk." Hanta paused before he remembered the muttering that the vigilante went into yesterday. "...Or maybe a knowledge quirk?"
Kyoka turned around, her small dark brows downwards in confusion. "Having a quirk for the brain and the quirk for the body are two very different things. I think it would be obvious if he had one or the other."
"That's the thing. He fucking knocked the wind outta me but he actually seems to be very smart. He started muttering a butt load and now that I think about it again, he made this cool little device that could call into the police without being tracked."
Katsuki snorted and muttered under his breath, "Just can't make this easy".
Hanta didn't know if the ashy blond was talking about Mina or the vigilante. He was going to pretend that the blond was talking about the latter.
"Do you know what the dude went by?", Denki asked.
"Ironically enough yea- you would think for someone who punches to kill and smart enough would have a cool ass name right? Tell me why the dude went by Deku.".
The raven head gave an awkward laugh shaking his head, "Deku is a funny name to go by when you cause this"
He motioned to himself just as the door opened. A redhead burst in giving a bright smile. Red eyes scanned the classroom before giving a quick, "Mr. Aizawa is down the hall!"
Mina and Denki were quick to jump away and scramble to their seats as everyone prepared for another day in class.
Not even 10 seconds later, Eraserhead entered the classroom and the bell for the first class rang.
"First things first, Sero, Recovery Girl will be back before lunch, so find some time during lunch to go get patched up for Heroics this afternoon. Second, Everyone should know that-"
Hanta only gave a subtle nod as he looked forward to the long day ahead of him. He didn't even notice the ruby-eyed blond that watched him.

Back when Izuku was still in Middle school, he had his sights on one thing in specific- getting into Yuuei. That was until he of course got involved with the slime villain in his last year.
The suffocating feeling of sludge and more sliding around his lungs and body taking control and infecting every inch of his body that the villain could get into-Izuku remembers he couldn't breathe, and just as his vision blacked out, there was All Might.
His favorite hero was there! Right there slapping his face awake after passing out! All Izuku could think about was getting the autograph of the Number one hero. While All Might was here maybe he could as the question that swirled in his mind.
The same question swirled in his mind thousands of times. The same question that other day no too. Because if All Might said yes, then Izuku could know someone was with him-So Izuku reached out.
That's how he ended up on the rooftop. That's how he meet All Might in a honey little form that needed to be a secret from the rest of the world. That is how he was told no.
That didn't stop him from trying. He might've accidentally released the slime villain when he grabbed All Might. But he also saved Kacchan before the blond suffocated to death.
Well, not really saved, more like- temporarily allowed to others to breathe just enough before All Might once more come swooping in and saving the day... again.
Izuku didn't want to deal with the idea that All Might will say something to him that he didn't what to hear. He already heard something he didn't want to hear so another thing on top? Over the edge. So as soon as the checkup and scolding from other pro heroes came to an end, he ran off. All Might wouldn't track him down just to tell him something anyways.
The next day at school went on, almost normal. Kacchan started to leave him alone. Although the freckled teen will catch the ruby eyes watching him. Sometimes the blond will scoff and look away, other times they would stare at one another until Izuku looked away.
When February came around he when to the Heroics entrance exam. That only went as well as any other day you could expect when you're quirkless and put in a dangerous situation.
On the semi-bright side, he was able to help the one brunette that stopped him from tripping onto the concrete. Ironically she was trapped under some concrete. He couldn't do much more than pull her out when she used her quirk for a few seconds to lighten the concrete.
That would be the moment that he made his friend, Uraraka Ochako.
When the exam ended and Recovery Girl made her checks around the exam grounds they finally had their first real conversation.
After the brunette was done puking from what Izuku assumed was quirk drawbacks, she gave a weak smile and gave her thanks.
"It's- It's nothing!", Izuku squeaked.
Izuku's face was warm and he covered his face hoping the hid the blush. Although since the exam did just end he hopes that any red that she could see on his face would be assumed to be from all the running around he did.
"I'm sorry that you had to help me! You could have gotten a few extra points if it wasn't for me", she sighed slowly. "Let me make it up to you somehow!"
Izuku shook his head as he gave a small smile, a sad one, his palm stung from all the concrete and debris that he had tripped over."I'm sure that a single point wouldn't make a difference..."
"But still!! Look Recovery Girl is coming over to us now, afterwards, maybe we could... I don't know- something?", Izuku was about to deny it a second time but as he finally looked at warm chocolate eyes, he had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to deter the other.
For some reason the idea of actually hanging out with someone made Izuku's chest squeeze.
Before the freckled boule could make his final decision that's when Recovery Girl finally reached the scratched-up duo. Izuku couldn't deny the excitement that coursed through the younger s body as he looked at the Heroine.
Viridian eyes watched her lips reach out and give the girl a kiss. Izuku could assume that under all the sweat and dust decorating the girl's skin was hiding scratches that were healed.
When Recovery Girl finally came toward him she gave a sweet smile and reach out. Izuku looked at his other palm and sure enough, soon the stinging pain cleared up and the scratches on his hand closed.
He already knew that Recovery girl quirk worked from being kissed but now he wondered if it was just her saliva that did the magic. If it was really her lips if something brushed up against them and it was injured would it heal? Or would it just... not?
A small huff of amusement came from below and he looked at the heroine who just pulled out some candies, "You two have a sweet, then get on outta here. Be sure to rest well okay?"
"Sure this Ms. Recovery Girl!", the brunette as she reached out and grabbed two of the candies. The rosy-cheeked teen offered the candy to Izuku with a smile.
"How about we get on outta here, and I can figure out something to thank you."
Izuku could only give a nod and a simple, "Okay."
