Work Text:
The light slowly filtered through the blinds, hitting Robin's closed eyes. Blinking herself awake, Robin turned over. Snuggled up next to her was Nancy, sleeping peacefully. She smiled at the sight. Nancy slowly woke up, smiling back at Robin as soon as she could focus. "Hi," Robin whispered. "Hey," Nancy whispered back. "What are you looking at?" Nancy cocked an eyebrow, playfulness in her tone. "Just the most beautiful girl in the world. You might know her, actually," Robin responded. They both laughed.
"As much as I would love to stay here in bed with you, I've got to get ready, and so do the kids." Robin ruffled Nancy's already messy hair. Nancy frowned. "Five more minutes?" She sounded hopeful. Robin sighed, giving in immediately. "You can sleep in five more minutes, but I'm going to get ready. One of us has to be responsible, you know." Nancy thrusted her arms in the air in celebration while Robin shuffled out of bed.

When Robin finished getting ready for the day, she went to go wake up Nancy. "Nance, it's been more than five minutes, sweets." The response she got was a delayed groan. Sitting up, Nancy glanced up at Robin. The latter held out her hand, to which the former took gratefully. "I love you," Nancy said as she hugged Robin. "I love you more." Robin chuckled before she went to give her lover a kiss on her forehead.
Although Nancy didn't have to go to work today, she still had to wake up the kids and get them ready for school. Robin knew this was just as tiring as going to work, so she went downstairs to start making breakfast. She smiled to herself as she heard Nancy waking up their boys, Charlie and Sammy. Whatever she did to end up this happy, she was glad she did that thing.
