   Summary

Duke didn't think seeing them like this would ever get easier. Their lips pulled back into an uncomfortably tight expression, gums and teeth showing brightly, taunting him with their never ending mockery of a smile. His mother was gently tapping the glass, staring at him with glazed over, empty eyes. She didn't see him.
