Summary:

My first ever attempt at writing a daily upload thingy. 31 prompts for 31 days (or at least that's the plan). Ships will be whoever I like and feel would fit the prompt at the time.

Hope you like it! ^^

This is my first time ever writing ships between 2 canon characters, I hope it's decent. ^^

Chapter 1: Wearing Each Other’s Clothes (Danganronpa: Kuzuhina)

Chapter Text

It was a beautiful Monday morning, the sky’s clear as a summer’s day despite it being midway into Spring, the birds chirping actually sound in tune for once, and Hajime Hinata woke up with his boyfriend Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu snuggling into his chest.

So today was already off to a great start.

Letting out a small smile, Hajime wraps an arm over his boyfriend’s shoulder, pulling him closer to his chest before closing his eyes again.

Maybe just a few more minutes…

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Hajime startles awake at the sound of his phone ringing, reaching wildly to the desk near his bed, he quickly answers it as to not wake up the sleeping boy in his arms lest he face his wrath.

“H-Hello?” Hajime answers the phone with a quiet huff.

“Hinata, where are you!?” The voice of one of his classmates shouts at him. “Did you forget that we have a presentation today!?”

“What!?” Hajime shouts in shock, turning back to the clock.

An entire hour had passed!? But it barely felt like thirty seconds

“I-I’m coming!” Hajime shouts in a panic, quickly untangling himself from his boyfriend and practically leaping onto the floor in a mad dash to the bathroom. Accidentally toppling Fuyuhiko over in the process.

“AH- What the fuck !?” Fuyuhiko yelps in annoyance as he removes the blanket that had been slapped in his face during Hajime’s panicked awakening. “The fuck’s your problem asshole!?”

“S-Sorry!” Hajime shouts, quickly brushing his teeth in the sink. “I overslept and I have a presentation to do at school today.”

“A presentation?” Fuyuhiko repeats, sounding unimpressed. “Who the fuck assigns a presentation at nine in the morning?”

“I know right!?” Hajime says in exasperation before spitting out the foam in his mouth and rushing back into his room to his closet.

“Why’d you oversleep anyways?” Fuyuhiko asks. “It’s not like you.”

Even in his haste, Hajime can’t help but pause for a moment to smile that sickeningly sweet smile a person gets when their boyfriends remember a really obscure detail about you, like what time you usually wake up in the mornings.

“Well maybe it’s because someone wouldn’t let go of me this morning.” Hajime teases, turning to look at Fuyuhiko with a grin.

“...Shut up, fucking asshole.” Fuyuhiko grumbles, breaking eye contact and looking away with a huff.

Hajime laughs, wanting to tease his boyfriend more, but then he notices the clock again and the panic sets into overdrive.

“Anyways, I have to go.” He says, hurriedly buttoning up his school shirt. “Besides, don't you have classes too? Why aren’t you getting ready?”

“Classes at Hope’s Peak don't technically start until ten.”  Fuyuhiko says. “The first two hour’s meant for Ultimate Talent Development.”

“Oh yeah.” Hajime says absent-mindedly. “Is that why Chiaki’s always gaming so early in the morning?”

“Nah, that’s just cause she never sleeps.” Fuyuhiko says with a scoff. “Are you done yet? It’s nearly nine.”

“Yeah! I’m ready!” Hajime shouts, rushing out of the closet as he stretches his coat over his shoulders. “Alright I’ll leave first, you can-”

“Hajime.”

The boy in question stops, turning to Fuyuhiko in confusion.

Fuyuhiko sighs.

“Forgetting something?” He says, pointing towards… his face?

Hajime blinks in confusion. Before he finally realizes what he meant, and leans to to peck his boyfriend on the cheek.

Only for his lips to be met with a hand.

“I meant your tie asshole!” Fuyuhiko definitely does not yelp in embarrassment with a slowly reddening face.

“Oh.” Was all Hajime could say, reaching down to feel at his collar.

Yep. No tie. Was Fuyuhiko pointing at his neck just now? It’s kind of hard to tell from this angle (or maybe Hajime just really wanted to kiss him).

Fuyuhiko sighs again and gets up from the bed.

“Wait here.” He says, before walking back into the closet.

As he waits, Hajime decides to just make the bed as he normally does every morning, right as he finishes setting the blanket, he feels a cloth gently drape around his neck.

“Turn around.” Fuyuhiko says, and Hajime complies, turning around and looking down at his boyfriend’s look of concentration as he deftly wraps a tie around Hajime’s neck, looping it around before pushing the knot upwards.

“There.” He says, face strangely red but before Hajime could comment the boy all but shoves him towards the door.

“Good luck on your presentation.” Fuyuhiko grumbles as they arrive at the door. “You better ace it.”

Hajime smiles. “Sure thing, I’ll see you later?”

Fuyuhiko nods, face still slightly flushed, but one final look at the clock and Hajime’s out of the apartment, shouting one final goodbye at his boyfriend before rushing down the stairs and towards the school.

He did in fact ace the presentation, and basically stayed in class for the rest of the day. He even skipped lunch because he had to finish some work that he couldn’t get to during the weekend (for very valid reasons of course).

However, there’s just one thought niggling at the end of his mind throughout the entire day.

And that is why people won’t stop staring at him.

It started out innocently enough, with people lingering their gaze on the boy before quickly looking away, but then it slowly evolved into stares at Hajime’s back, followed by quiet giggling from some of the students as well.

It all accumulated to the moment where Natsumi, Fuyuhiko’s sister, walked in half a day late as usual, took one look at Hajime, and then lets out a groan so loud he’s pretty sure the people at Hope’s Peak would hear it.

Seriously!?” Natsumi says in exasperation. “What did my big brother promise you for you to wear that to school?”

Hajime blinks.

“What?” He asks.

Natsumi rolls her eyes.

“Your tie?” She asks with a huff. “If I can even call it that of course.”

Hajime scrunches his eyebrows in complete confusion, and then looks down at his tie.

Instead of his usual red one, it was black, with the symbol of the Kuzuryu Clan on it.

Suddenly, Fuyuhiko rushing Hajime out of his apartment after putting on his tie makes so much sense now.

He’s such a dork. Hajime thinks to himself, gently running his fingers down his boyfriend’s tie while letting out a goofy smile. If Fuyuhiko wanted me to wear some of his clothes all he had to do is ask.

“Oh gross.” Natsumi says with a sneer. “Do us all a favor and keep that lovey-dovey look to yourself. You’re dating the heir to the Kuzuryu Clan you know? Act like it.”

Hajime lets out a chuckle.

“Sorry.” He says, not apologetic at all.

Natsumi rolls her eyes and walks away, grumbling something about what big idiots her brother and his boyfriend are.

For the rest of the school day, Hajime wears the tie with pride, walking around with his chest slightly protruded outwards (although he would never admit that) to show off his boyfriend’s lovely accessory. The jealous stares he would receive from the other reserve course students was like fuel to the fire, while Natsumi’s affronted glare was just pure adrenalin , like skydiving in a hurricane

And when school is finally over, Hajime finally checks his phone, scrolling past the messages from his friends before finally landing on one from Chiaki.

He keeps saying that you made him do it.

Posted in the message was an image of Fuyuhiko at Hope’s Peak, wearing a familiar tie along with his usual uniform, the redness of said tie almost matching the color of his face as he stubbornly glared at anybody who would comment further on it.

Hajime smiles, that sickeningly sweet smile a person loves another person so much that it can’t even be described, and texted back.

Tell him I said thanks for the good luck charm.

…It’s mine forever now.

Gross… I think.
